So just left Jeep Chat......ordered 1/05/18 for a JLUR.....just left D1 status, now in 'E'....finally. Not even going to think about the rest of the 'letters'
yet....or being held up, or the 3 weeks on a train to Colorado. It's at least being made.........!!!!!
I’m happy for you. I ordered 1/11 still in D1. While others have gotten their Jeeps in 29 days (I am at day 23 from order). I cant be as upset as those above that have been waiting for months and still not received their Jeeps. My heart aches for @newJLUguy who still hasnt gotten his Jeep. I too am hoping to be able to use my TDM. I have been looking for months at different vehicles in preparation for my lease end. I like to take my time before deciding on a vehicle. I like to get reviews and make an informed choice. One that I will both love and can afford. I am a single mother that’s struggled for years to make it. Now my son is in college I finally can do something for myself. And after driving my boyfriends Jeep...I knew what I wanted. I tried to talk myself into something lesser...like the new compass...but my heart was always with the wrangler...then I heard some rumors. They are finally listening to the Jeep community and fixing some problems. So I waited patiently for the announcement...I was glued to my computer watching the reveal! I was instantly in love and knew I had to get a Wrangler, but would they be out in time for my lease turn in? I called every Jeep dealership with in 100 miles and put my name on their list. And then I found this forum. I was worried about the prices and then the prices were revealed. My heart was broken because they are so expensive. My local dealer that i ended up ordering from, called me and offered to put my name on the Sahara that he had coming in. I was ok with that because I was afraid if I ordered I wouldn’t get it in time and it was cheaper than the Rubi I wanted. Then i found out (through this forum) about TL and the discounts people were getting. So i contacted Koons and got their offer. I went to my dealer and showed him the Koons offer and after some negotiation (which took a week) I got to order the Rubi I wanted for less than what they were going to sell me the Sahara for. But I didn’t make the timeline for the tracking provided here. So I completely understand everyone’s frustration, the inconsistent answers from Jeep Chat, and the whole “hurry up and wait”. I have never ordered a vehicle before so this is all new to me and so very exciting. I am just like all of you that are waiting (whether on the tracking list or not) and so very happy for those that have received their Jeeps. I truly think this is an amazing vehicle with an amazing enthusiast community. And I am thankful for this forum, all its members, the support we have for each other, and all the information I found here. I would like to thank @JAY and @JLWFDealerGuy for all their hard work. To all those frustrated...You Are Not Alone! There are many of us right there with you. Hold on just a little bit longer. Jeep is trying to make a quality vehicle and get them to us in a timely yet cost effective manner. :fingerscrossed:

"Sorry we don't have access to that"
"We see your vehicle is in the shipping status but no plans for shipment have been made yet"
"It's possible that you could stay in this status for 30 days"
"I am showing all the parts have been received and your vehicle should begin production really soon"
"We are just automated bots feeding you a bunch of bullsh*t and not realizing you are hardcore Jeep fans who know more about our vehicles than we do."

We should rename this whole thing "ORDER LACKING for your JEEP WRANGLER" :cwl:
:like:

There is one guy, I forgot his name, who is magically the ONE chat operator who has access to answers!

But there is also a Darryl and seriously who needs the extra R in their name? (FYI Darryl has no answers)
You want to get Dylan if you can.

Jeep already made me a quality vehicle. Now, they just need to take it, put it on a train car with the HUNDREDS of unsold dealer orders that are en-route to Florida and drop it off at my dealership. :swear:

I don't mean to complain. I am obviously not "car-less" right now. I even have a Wrangler I can drive sitting in front of my house. Its just that when you make up your mind to make an investment like this, you typically start losing patience when deadlines and promises made from the seller are flying past like jet airliners near a metropolitan airport.

The worst part is having days where there is a reasonable ETA, days with a ridiculously long ETA, and more commonly, days with "The date of arrival is not showing in our system or hasn't been set yet"

Well, I went off on Delores.

She claimed to have worked as a chat rep for 5 years.

I would have gotten better results talking to a back of rocks.

Remember, she could stay in the "Chat Rep" stage for up to 30 days!!!!

Alexander was relatively helpful this morning. Ordered on 1/2 and my ETA is 2/18. Frankly, my dealership told me mid-to-late March when I ordered so I’ll hope for arrival by the end of February so I can use my Golden Ticket.

I, too, feel for those that ordered well before me who are stuck in purgatory waiting with no response. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the sequencing, although I have to believe there probably is; we just don’t get to be privy to that information. In a year, all of who have ordered will have a beautiful new Jeep.

If your Jeep hasn't been built yet - That initial "delivery" ETA they give you tends to be within a day or two of your actual build date.

That's how it has been for almost everyone on here thus far.

So don't expect it to actually ship then.
