December 8th, dates are in the signature line
When are you expected to pick up?

I ordered mine today , they said 4 weeks since they are moving pretty quickly now. Don’t know if that’s accurate....

That seems a bit optimistic, but I hope you get it in that time frame. I think 6 weeks is more like it. A lot of the early orders were 8-12 weeks.

Yea that’s what I thought. February is a short month so maybe end of March. Middle of March if I’m lucky....

4 weeks probably wont happen...even in full production the JKs were on average 6 weeks. I would hold your hopes and horses to about 8-9 weeks, then be pleasantly surprised if it shows up faster. :like:

My dealer is optimistic I will take delivery next week, we shall see.

Ok. Good feedback.

I’m thinking about maybe calling them tomorrow see if we can grab one from another dealer and get it sooner. 6-8 weeks that’s time. Time is precious anything can happen in 2 months.

Always a good way to go if you get what you want...but of course the beauty of ordering is getting exactly what you want, and not paying for stuff you do not. That and the personal touch of knowing its yours from start to finish just adds the whole sentimental value thing. If you get one from a dealer off the lot, chances are you wont get as solid of a deal, especially if it has options you do not wish to pay for. I would bet dealers are not going to negotiate much with their early inventory, some dealers may not even accept things like TL discounts on their new JL inventory.

Demand is too high, and they will get that $57k for that Sahara from the next dude to walk in after you.

My wife is a scrapbook woman, she plans on making the memories to tell the grand kids....assuming I let my daughter date at some point that is. :cwl: These offended and triggered snowflakes these days scare the crap out of me too much to let her bring home some skinny jean wearin....eh I will just stop there.

Yes. You are right I got a great deal on the factory order 6% below invoice. Pretty happy and content. However I might call and add the heated seat package.

Yes you have a point they had a fully loaded Rubicon on the lot asking about 61k including dealer “mark up”.

My wife is the same. She loves the memories and the whole scrapbooking. You cracked me up with the whole skinny jeans.... HAHAHAHA

The skinny jean resonates so well with me and my job right now unfortunately.

But in good news, Jeep is cleared and ready for shipment as of this morning but shipping arrangements have not been made just yet. They said probably by end of day today or tomorrow and they’ll be an eta for me. Bday is on Saturday what are the odds hahaha

They might have it built in 4 weeks, but it's a roll of the dice on transportation. Some leave quickly and others sit outside in the weather and collecting dust for a few weeks before being shipped. Good luck. I hope you get yours quickly. Mine was KZ on 1/23 and still sitting on the lot in Toledo.:swear:

Got my window sticker tonight, dont see my or the wifes name on it but whatever dont care.....wonder if that means my KZ changed from VDC to on a truck!

The good news is that they don’t put the window sticker with the name on it via the Chrysler website. Once the vehicle arrives IT WILL have the name on it. As you can notice the ship to dealer is also not listed on there !!!

It's funny that you suggest this. My friend has a order in for a new Corvette. His experience with the order is a complete opposite of ours with Jeep. One thing that they do is pre register his Vette with OnStar to his account and enable tracking. So like you suggested, he knows exactly where it is in the whole shipping and dealer process.
Sounds like GM has their act together--with the Corvette at least. I wonder if they do it for all their On-Star enabled vehicles?

That sounds like best deal I've seen discussed on here, congrats. So you got this build down around $45,800? (+ fee, tax, licensing)

I hit Railcar Departure/Yard Exit today. Not sure what that means exactly, but it’s an update.
