2018 JLU Sahara... preceded by 2012 JKU Sahara, Multiple CJ's, TJ's even XJ, WJ & WK2... yup, Always loved my jeeps :)
Can I ask what it cost to put the mopar lift on?
It was quite a few years ago. My JKU was a 2012. I think it was 2k installed. At the time, COUNTLESS folks commented on OME, Teraflex, RubiconExpress, being so much cheaper - They are. And frankly, I have run all of those other suspensions in the past. OME being the most comfy of the NON Mopar group.

However, the Mopar kit has been by far my favorite. I have had 10 JEEPS. CJ's TJ's JKU's Overlander etc. The Mopar kit was just seamless and provided both improved road comfort with great off road articulation. Yes, you pay more to have your dealer install - but then your dealer also warranties and covers the whole jeep. I always buy from the same folks and they have always taken care of me. In my 20's I used to experiment to try to save $. But in mid 40's, I'd just assume pay more for the stuff I know I like and works for my needs.

Mopar hasn't made their own lifts in the past. They have usually repackaged AEV and other brands including Teraflex.

Just ordered a JL.

Curious if any of the folks with Sahara's have swapped out wheel tires. A bit bummed that I was not able to customize my config a bit more. I would have liked a hybrid between a Sahara interior with Rubicon well space. Im certain that the 285/70/17 KO2 will fit on the Sahara I ordered, but curious if any folks have put the 35's on? I'll go with the mopar kit - but not immediately. (loved the mopar on my 2012 JKU)
I’ll take pics when and if mine ever gets here. I got the upgraded Sahara wheel package, and I’m having the dealer replace the Duelers with K02s. I thought about the size you listed, but I went with 265/70/r18 instead. My wife didn’t want the height as tall as my ‘14 JKU Sahara (which had Mickey Thompson 333x12.15x17). I also thought I might save a little of the gas mileage with the 265’s. I’m hoping to have my JL here by the weekend. The K02s are here and waiting.

My thoughts exactly, now that I’ve learned more about the world in the last 20 years of life

My 2018 JLU Sahara w/ Fresh New Tints.

.

Tint looks good!

Did you have the full windshield done?

I had the side windows done in 18% pro nano ceramic and 70% pro nano ceramic applied on the full windshield. It is great! No issues with night driving or reflections, and the benefits are great.

After 5 windshields in my 2012 JKU, the last thing I'm doing is putting anything on the windshield! (7* of rake added or not).

Well, I made it up in the rain today and picked up my new ride from Craig at Koon's in Vienna, Va. I gotta say this was absolutely the most hassle free and easiest vehicle buying experience I have ever had. After putting over 200 miles coming home today I can't believe how well it drives and I am especially impressed with how good the gas mileage is.
Congrats! I was wondering when you were going to post. Glad you had a good experience!

Did you order or snag one off the lot? If you ordered, when? The white looks awesome! Congrats!!!
Snagged off the lot. It had everything we wanted except heated seats and living in CA, it’s not a must lol. Especially when it’s 86 outside today.
