I had the same train of thought that it would make me stop thinking about my order 24/7. Well, seeing the color I ordered and getting to ride on the off-road course at the Houston Auto show is making me think about it so much that I'm literally dreaming about my order.

Contacted them this morning.

Their first response was: D1 - all parts arrived and the vehicle is sequenced and waiting to be built.

I responded with: Your system is very delayed - I entered framing on the 26th (per the spreadsheet here)

They respond: Oh, you are in framing. I see it here. Your vehicle should be ready to ship in the next day or so.

Lol! The guy told me this morning I should be receiving mine in just a few days! February 2nd.....I said uh....its already built? He said well its still in production. I said Oh ok...so I'm thinking he was telling my build date has changed to February 2nd. Lord, who knows anymore...I take everything they say with a grain of salt...

Question - Once the JL has an actual ship estimate once it hits KZ, how accurate is said estimate?

What has been the trend?

I would say pretty accurate.

Jeep chat said yesterday that it is "pending installation of additional equipment". Not sure that makes much sense in status "I".

Would be nice to know why some orders are stuck at I status for this long. Something is holding a few of the already built cars and I suspect some parts are missing and they are waiting for shipments.

I ordered mid December and supposedly went D1 on Jan 12th with an estimated ship date. I never showed up on your D1 list but was able to get updates through chatting with FCA. A week ago FCA told me they can no longer find my VIN or VON. A couple of days later I called them and after 28 min and them trying everything they said sorry, never happened before, contact your dealer. When I call the dealer he says don't worry about it, those guys don't know what they are doing, your order is still in and D1. Does this sound legit? How would you guys and Jeep not have it but just my dealer does? Feels like I'm getting duped. Jeep even asked if they cancelled the order. Help!

My salesman just text me and told me that my Jeep is in New Mexico and it should arrive in Riverside by tomorrow and that they marked it “HOT” so they are going to go pick it up or have it delivered by Wednesday and I was trying to figure out why? (End of the month they need to hit there number). I obviously asked them to have it delivered because who know how someone would drive the car an hour from the train depot to the dealership.

I didn't know they could go to the rail yard and pick it up. I thought it had to be delivered to the dealer. Interesting.
