Deciding between DV8 and LOD

I think I have saved every single LOD out there but $900witht the skid total is a lotta coin

DV8 has had quite a few quality control issues. Their bumpers are made in China. Also, their bumpers were designed for JKs and may require you to elongate the holes to get it to mount up. They do sell an adapter bracket but I’ve seen posts on Facebook where the brackets have pushed their bumpers out a couple of inches.

Disclaimer: I am using an LoD signature series bumper, so I’m slightly biased. However, I originally was leaning towards DV8 until I read multiple posts (here and Facebook) regarding the issues I’ve mentioned.

I really liked the LOD signature. I like the way the winch tucks in. Unfortunately, the wife overrode me and said she liked the stock OEM bumper better. No experience with DV8, but the LOD folks were very helpful via email.

I have the fs-15 and had zero issues with the install. It came packaged well and had a great finish. I liked this style the most

Sorry you are comparing a Toyota Camry to a Ford Pinto. It is well documented with regards to quality and craftsmanship that they are in different leagues.

I have the same LoD in the full, and the stock fogs are fully compatible. Easy install the with the bumper on or off. The Baja Designs Squadron Pros also fit nicely with the kit from BD.

Installing the stock fog lights in the LOD bumper took less than five minutes, getting them out of the stock plastic bumper took about an hour.
