Has anyone ordered a Black jeep that is past D1? All of the orders I have seen past this stage have not been black... wondering if maybe this is my hold up.

Anyone out there with a premium soft top hit KZ yet?

In the arrivals post I think someone posted a dealer soft top for sale. Dealer has bad rep thou according to a local member

My order is being "escalated..."

Chanchal: Tom; Order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled and as soon as they available and ready, order will be scheduled for build. Most orders are scheduled for build within 30 days after reaching this stage.

Chanchal: If it does not change in a weeks time we will escalate for review by brand mentor

Tom Parris: Thank you. I know that manual Jeeps are being delivered. Any idea what the hold up is?

My order went KZ back on the 14th and i'm still waiting for it to ship as of yesterday ( fingers are crossed that it moves with today's update ) . Some orders from back in October and November are still D and D1, yet other orders from late December have been built and shipped . Some orders are built and shipped within a day or two while other sit for long periods waiting to be shipped . There just doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the way FCA does things . Don't get me wrong I'm very happy for those that ordered and that have received their new Jeeps , but this waiting is a lot harder than i thought it would be lol . Its kinda like going to a restaurant ordering your food, and while your waiting, someone comes in 30 minutes after you orders the same thing , and gets served their meal before you .

I spoke to Chanchal earlier today as well.....I got the answer that I am in D1 and have been in D1 for 12 days. A vehicle can STAY in D1 for up to 30 days before being built.

Apparently D and D1 can both be 30 day waiting periods....so just go ahead and assume a new order could sit for a minimal 60 days after entering D status before even being started lol.
