What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I've seen people put a flag pole in it. Not sure if that's what it's for.

I heard Mark Allen once say in an interview that the hole is for a flag. I've used it for one and it works great because it cants the flag pole outward a little, keeping it from bumping the grille.

I just picked up my 19 JLU from the dealer this afternoon and I am thrilled to get going! Installed the car seat and transferred items from the old vehicle into the new.

It seems as if the 19 aftermarket items are still limited. Where can I find a stubby antenna that will fit? This is purely for aesthetics as I primarily listen to Howard Stern.

Where does everyone keep the little pouch of tools used for removing the doors? It has a strap on the back like it is meant to be stored somewhere specific. Obviously this can be thrown in the glove box or the tub but I do not want to risk losing.

I just finished upgrading my 2018 Wrangler dome light to the 2019 dome light. Now all 5 lights come on when the door is open, instead of just the middle one. Much better. Installation took 15 minutes and I could do it in half that time if I had to do it again. Below are two pictures showing the lighting before and after the upgrade. If you want to see how much brighter it would be in your 2018 Wrangler, just open the door, click on the 4 small lights and it will be the exact same amount of light.

I removed the entire sound bar front panel, by removing the 3 x T-25 screws from the front of it, accessing the screws sitting in the front drivers seat. After removing those screws, the rest of the panel is held up by clamps that snap out. I pried the panel out from the end and popped it off. The dome light came out with the panel as it’s clips actually help hold up the panel, i.e. they clip through the panel instead of clipping to the panel.

Looks great and it will probably serve you well. Everything these days is Chinese. If a comparable American product were 20% or even 30% higher in price, I'd buy it every time. 100% more? No way. I can't afford to spend money like that. That is the same winch I've got and it is a winner.

Rigid lights arrived today so added them to the front bumpers (4 because I like to see a long way on Wyoming, Montana, Idaho highways).
Installed KC HID driving lights and remounted my side lights.
Installed hitch cover.
Didn't wire lights yet, 4 degree wind chill outside. 20 degrees in garage. They predict we'll get above freezing sometime in April.

Quake LED Halo headlights! Bought a set on the forum here and got them installed today. Nice upgrade from the halogens. The RGB light effects are pretty cool. Might go for the Quake motion fog lights that go with it after I get my new bumper.

Install is a typical PIA. Getting to the fender harness for the turn signals was a knuckle buster. I used a direct tap off the battery for the halo effect lights. Not real thrilled about that. I think I’ll tap off the 12V dash power output or add an on off switch.

Hard to tell if its aligned correctly or not. I may need to add a few more washers to drop the beam and move it to the right a bit. Depends how many people I get flashing me.

I dont know if these are worth $600. I got them for $300 used. Definitely have to go with a fender LED replacement next.

Thanks and yes, I couldn't agree more. The bumper is new but I ran this winch on my JK for a couple years and it's been very reliable.
