Back seat? What back seat? Lol mines been out since I got Betty home. My mom in law bagged it when she picked it up from bartact and the only reason it got unbagged was to give the seat cover away! It’s now back in its bag and on the highest shelf in the garage, where it shall sit till someone wants it for a 3rd row seating in a JLU. That’s what happened to the JK’s backseat.

If I remove the rear seat from a 2 door Rubi, is there a full coverage rubber matt available? Perhaps from a different style/model Jeep vehicle?
Thanks,
I always have taken my seat out and am also waiting for a matt of sorts to go in the back. It would be good if Weathertech could make something.

I'm currently using the mat from my '09 2 door JK in my JLR. Its not ideal but fits better than nothing and will more than likely update once a there is a JL version, hopefully by Weathertech!

I am still just using the moving blankets I got at Harbor Freight. Works and doubles for so many other things.

Working under the Jeep. Picnic blanket. Hail protection. Sound dampening. Furball protection. Liner.
I've still got the rear slush mat from my JKU's, so I'm using that. Ain't pretty, but covers the area.

Hello everyone. :) Still here and reading your posts every day. Yes many rear cargo
mats to chose from. This one looks good and not a lot of grooves to catch dirt.
You have cutouts for speaker and tie downs if you want.

Thanks Clif! Jus went ahead and ordered it. I always loved Weathertech. You don’t speak often, but you speak good! Lol

Has anyone taken out the "Subwoofer" and put in the plastic insert for storage ?
With this mat it would cover the hole of the subwoofer. I want to do this as the
storage would be great. Any feedback about this will be help to all of us.

Funny, I just pulled the back seat up from the basement and when I went to put it back in I figured out what that weird "extra" plastic piece was in the trunk when I picked it up from the dealer.

Seems the "extra" bit of plastic was a cover to the side of the back seat. Never would have noticed except the guys think the back seat may come in handy at KOH. I've been designated the "recovery vehicle."

Even Loki was curious what this thing was. I really think the back seat is best taken out. So much more storage in the Jeep without it.
Loki... how cool is that?!

It was int the trunk when I got the Jeep. Apparently it fell off the side of the back seat and the tech couldn’t get it back on. All good for storage now.
