Added my ski rack. Love this so much more then the hitch one I had for my JK. I can open the tailgate up to get to our stuff without having to remove it or the skis. Been driving around with it for a couple days to rest it out. Skis don't move, all is secure, hope to hit the slopes Sunday!!!

Got new tires and wheels installed: 37" KM3s with Mopar Slotted Off-Road wheels. I love both the tires and wheels, but the wheels are definitely a lot more shiny than they appeared in their photos. So, they're gonna come off this week and get powdercoated in black. I'll create a stencil of the Willys logo and paint that back on, too.

I found a Barrac ski rack adapter for a bike rack brand new on Facebook marketplace but I imagine a Thule or Yakima one would work just fine too, since they just attach to the two arms of the bike rack

Here are some close up pictures and a video of me "moving" it. It's secure, doesn't block the camera, and I can open the back. I had the Jeep up to 80 on the highway and no issues so I think I'm good.

Getting into back of 2 door could really use a tarzan rope to swing in and out (come on Mopar!), for now I went to Quadratech and got:
Bartact Paracord Rear Head Rest Grab Handles
Vertically Driven Products 360° Grab Handles

I attached the 360 grab handle to the baby seat mount, and you can use it to help pull in (there is kinda a void with nothing to grab other than funny weak plastic on sportbar.

Yeah when I was installing mine, well, just before the install it was a great excuse to go out and buy a Torque wrench at Lowe’s. When I went to Lowe’s I bought one a really high rated one (which I didn’t need) and then I ordered a lower rated one for the job. My wife was like why did you buy two? Lol
