either way I gaurentee the Wildpeak At3w will outperform KO's or any stock dealer rubber they give you. Unless you in a mud pit or doing real rock crawling, the AT3s are amazing tire. They're among the very best AT available
I hope I didn’t sound like I thought it was a poor tire choice, but to my way of thinking a Wrangler’s performance should be thought of first from the axles, then out from there. Anti-Spin might be the only “must have” option on a Sport in the sense it makes the Jeep more capable off road with the better axle and more capable A/T tires (for $600 it’s the best value option, by far). All of the other options are for the comfort and convenience of the occupant- though A/C is pretty much a “must” too if you’re looking at a base Sport.

I have the LSD and I think its a must for northeast winters, but I see what your trying to do I suppose. Sometimes people buy off a local lot and dont wait to find exactly what they would want. I didnt have the max tow package in my jku when it was only like a 90 dollar upgrade and regretted it for years

Blew out one of my stock tires (245/75R17 Michelin Defenders) and decided that was a good enough excuse to go ahead and upgrade the tires. Went with Falken Wildpeak A/TW3 285/75R17. Falken website says they're 33.9". Wanted a more aggressive look and to fill in the fender...definitely got what I was looking for. Got them mounted yesterday and they are AWESOME! No rubbing whatsoever on any of the plastics...however, I will be getting a relocation bracket for the spare....definitely rubbing on the bumper. Had to deflate to 20PSI to close the gate :)

Attached the Rough Country relocation bracket. That wiring was super tight. Actually couldn't get the third brake light to come back on. Bracket deffinitely holds the tire though.

I've got 2 sets of these Falken tires and am really impressed with them. One set is 305/55/20 and the other is 315/70/17. Both balanced extremely well with very little weight needed and they are nearly silent on the road. The only knock against them is they are heavy!

Out of all the tires I've tested over the last several years, the Falken is probably the best A/T offering on the market. You'll be happy with those.
Can you post the test data and other tires tested?

Just bought a set of 315s I have a Sport S too. Any chance I can squeeze them into the stock wheels and run without a lift? Going to buy a lift and spacers if they don't fit but want to try stock first.

Looks good! Same tires here.

Do these tires in the SL category (not the LT load range) have the 3pmsf (winter) symbol and rating? I have a Willys Sport 2dr on order and have these in mind for it. Thx!
