I ordered Rubicon Unlimited with everything except for: Leather, Dual top, painted fender flares, and steel bumpers, on January 6th with Dennis Dillon Jeep. Kent Shurtleff [email protected] 208-741-1289 was very helpful and easy to deal with. The deal I got using FCA financing through them was about 13% below msrp. In addition, I have a 500 dollar coupon from Jeep that expires the end of February. I am not counting on getting the Jeep before my coupon expires, but it would be nice.

I was given a Vehicle Order number VON and still waiting on a VIN and build status.

I want to 2nd the Conway, Ar. recommendation. Super easy, low doc fee. I could have had it done in 30 minutes but I was having issues deciding color and top options. Kim was very patient and sweet. I sent her a couple "Okay that's it, order it" and then send one right back saying hold on. I finally made my mind up and it was done. I got an MSRP/Invoice/below invoice build sheet with prices within an hour. No hidden fees, doc fee is only $130. 5% below and $130 doc fee. Can't beat it for me and only 1.5 hours down I-40.

I've talked to her and she's given me the best price. Now to order!

Thank you Wanderer. I definitely like the "value" proposition and being prepared, maybe I should go with the steel bumpers . . .
Ha, I'm from Austin and was thinking about the Caldwells deal as well instead of River Oaks Jeep. Not sure I'll have the time to make it a fun trip, though. Have you spoken to any Austin dealers? Cars tend to be overpriced here in general so I haven't looked.

I did 2 weeks around Washington (Olympic National Park) a few months ago. Wouldn't mind seeing Oregon. 25 hours back, though..

I'm juggling Sport S and Rubicon as well. I'm worried I'll get a Rubi and take all the Rubi stuff off of it or never use it. The options limits on the Sports are a big deal to me though.

Tried to go back to Bluebonnet in NB as that is where I bought my JK, but they would only do the 1% off Tread Lightly deal. So I said, screw it - I love adventure and car trips. Taking it to Moab/Arches and trails unlimited in the area for camping, hiking and some offroading fun after breaking it in on the backroads and an oil change along the way. As for the Rubi, I am only ordering LEDS - which gets me a RUBI FOR UNDER $34k!!!! I am one of the folks that thinks generally, less is more on Jeeps. I talked seriously about upfitting the Sport but almost nothing is out for them yet and I do not want to wait for another year. So, MOPAR is upfitting me to a Rubicon I don't need.

I contacted 4 dealers in Austin and found 5% (Alex at Mac Haik) which might work with my trade-in. However, now I'm very interested in the Idaho road trip so thanks! Are both of you doing it? I'll email him - need to know what the APR looks like and if it's locked in.

Let me know what you hear. I'm still 3-5 months off from buying. I really don't think I'm in for a 25 hour drive back after a lot of other driving. I did 1k miles around ONP and had no problem (rented a Diesel z71 and loved it) doing that but I was happy to let someone fly me back after. Especially since almost 2 weeks of it was camping by myself (Hoh Rainforest mostly).

I am 99% committed and I am going straight to Moab/National Monument/Arches, hiking, camping and offroading with my stripper Rubi! Only LED package ordered as Kent swears the deeelux softop is included in base Rubi despite website build for us mortals. I can add a front steel bumper, winch, later. I may order Tow and HD electrical now though, I just don't ever see needing it. It will be about a 5 day trip of awesome with pictures and video.

Not a big fan of resorts, buffets, dinner rez, tours, etc. that are associated with typical vacations, prefer loosely planned outdoors stuff. Typical vacations are GREAT, don't flame me, just prefer a little adventure.

I need to sign order and put down my deposit. A Rubi for $33.9k. It makes me happy to have this JL price increase work around ("PIWA") with a vacation. And I do need to confirm APR . . . last detail but important.

Better to have it not need it than to not have it and need it. I bet you will find that there are things you did not think you’d use but do

Damn! Is that invoice or MSRP? And I assume using their financing as well?
13% UNDER MSRP. Just take your build MSRP and multiply by .8667 - that is the Dillon deal approximately. Mine is just over $5,100 off of sticker for under $34k for a 2 door Rubicon. Sweet.
