Its a bundle but the most complete lift I've seen thus far, and in the range i expected for such. I like that its designed for 35's also.
It sounds awesome, but then so did the RE long arm system when they sold that to me. That was a mistake.

I love the way the JL drives now and it honestly feels lifted already. I don't want to ruin a good thing. How's yours doing when loaded down with camping gear? You've hit places I've still not gotten to, so I would love to hear why you feel this lift is needed.

it does drive well new, but if you wheel like we do, you wear out components quicker. generally that's how most builds go, you break it, you upgrade it. Having gone thru many stock parts on Jenns Jeep and the process of completing a build her and her ex started i learned that, though it is fine to go step by step and replace budget lifts with better lifts later and just get her up enough to put on big tires, you end up spending way more than just doing a proper upgrade all at once. Don't get me wrong i loved wheeling stock, i wanted to show off a bit and complete a bunch of name trails stock. i liked showing that it was very capable off the showroom floor. you didn't need to do anything but maintain it and it would take you a long way. That being said, if you get into some rougher trails, that extra inch will pretty much allow that 2 door to go anywhere i want. I think many lifts are for looks more than for wheeling and that's ok, but there are very big differences with real off road lifts. I was very aware that i would be wearing out my stock components in short order, so i have a choice replace with oem or upgrade. I think i showed that a much more than once in awhile wheeler could do quite a bit stock. Now sadly, i am getting close to that point of needing replacements. my point being that what i did in 5000 miles most wont do in 50,000 miles. i need to upgrade so i am not replacing parts in 5000-7000 mile intervals and more like 15,000-20,000 mile intervals. plus with a proper lift, the ride will still change, just not as much as with a budget boost or a long arm (primarily off road only vehicle). Plus off road capabilities will be greatly increased still. an extra couple inches of flex is very handy also.
As for the load, you still have to locate your weight low and above the axle, any excess weight on the ass gives a significant sag. she wheels wonderfully fully loaded, though its been a process getting the load centered correctly.

Yes! Seems my response didn’t go through. Didn’t want to post all this here, although what the heck, we are all practically family. Please let me know if my response tonight went through.

Good for you! In July I will go half time; 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off. I can look for jeep adventures!

So are you guys really giving your jeeps back to the dealer for 3 days to check welds? I had a lengthy text with my dealership yesterday and told em all the wheelin ive been doing, they'd be lucky if i gave them 3 hours supervised! They said oh, uh well, ok sounds great. Never heard from them again tho lol
