ORDER TRACKING for your Jeep Wrangler

I heard the same thing last week (10-12 weeks between ordering and delivery). I told them if they were going to have mine delivered by the 12 week described deadline they had better hurry since it is still in D and will hit 12 weeks in 12 days.

I went into the dealer on November 18 to order. They actually placed the order on Monday the 20th. Two weeks after your order. So I’m sitting at 8 weeks to your 10. I totally feel your disappointment. Still in D after 10 weeks! What a drag! I’ve been looking at the orders arriving near me. My wife insists on tan leather. I will not give up tow package. Every dealer stock Jeep lacks one or both of those or else I would walk away from my order since it has clearly fallen into a dark abyss.

Ok for those of us not on the "list"....whats going on?

Looks like 21 in KZ at the moment. I don't want to give an estimate since we are playing it by ear, but it won't be until many more JLs are delivered. If the ETAs are close to accurate there should be a bunch by months end.

As I've said, we'll announce when it opens up again.

I know we have all talked about spreadsheet vs what the dealer says vs jeep chat vs pull a day out of your butt......but here is my question. My dealer told me last week I was D1 (along with several others finding this out), he also showed me where on his system I showed an Shipping ETA of 1/25. Now we all know those initial ETAs typically turn into the build date....has anyone seen the spreadsheet here mirror that info? I am fully expecting the spreadsheet will show me D1 on or about the 25th (which I trust to be more accurate than my dealer....forget what jeep chat told me about how my Jeep already shipped....I dont believe that mess for a minute lol)

That would be interesting to know. My dealer POC showed Shipping ETA of 1/16, so if I show up in D1 on Jay’s list Tuesday, that will be another data point. It will be interesting to see what happens. It’s hard to know what to believe. It would be cool, though, if yours already shipped. But I would think the dealer’s systems would show that.

I will only get a Wrangler with stick. Jeep with manual should be a common thing, even in 2018. They simply don't exist on dealer lots anymore, you have to custom order (or be preprared to pay over sticker if you can even find one, let alone it being the model, color, package you want) -- for what it's worth I was quoted 4-6 weeks (prob wishful thinking) although I have no way of verifying any of it until I can get my order tracked. Dealer gives a weekly update which is just that it is pending.
