I've seen at least 3 others that have gotten the, "parts are in and it is waiting to be sequenced for build" response from chat.

I am also in the same boat.

Sounds like they are getting ready to shoot us all through shortly!

I've got a private sale set up for my Crosstrek I am selling. They put in a deposit for me to hold it for them. But that is waiting on the frekin' JL to show up!

I was given that response for a month. Literally. D1 means nothing, the people who ordered in December need to realize until it gets past D1 I wouldn’t get too excited, or you’ll just drive yourself crazy.

Since this is the thread that I visit most often, I have a question. The backup camera is in the middle of the spare tire in the back. Is this a design flaw? My thinking is that I live in SWFL and the sun is crazy and won’t continued exposure to the sun cause the tire to have sun rot? Or, is the tire durable enough to survive the exposure to the surface of the sun, because that’s where SWFL is..the surface of the sun. @JLWF Dealer Guy @JAY Any thoughts?

Tires will handle the heat of the sun but if you want to put a cover on the spare, they are making a donut cover with a hole in the middle.

I spend most of my time in Detroit and fort Meyers, I figured with rotating all 5 tires the sun issue is less. If you leave 1 tire as a full time spare a cover may be a good idea.

Seeing how my est ship date is 1/18 and just a day ago they told me all my parts have arrived and were “shipped” to the factory I think it’s safe to assume they mean that’s the build date. Allow a week from that for the actual build. Then 2-3 weeks for delivery to dealer.

I know this thread is long, but you may want to go back and read the last 25 or so pages. You're in good company. The tracking system is not real accurate. Patience is a virtue.

Chris since tracking is closed on here I would have your dealer print out the POC order sheet which will have all the info you need. No way he can give you the run around if he prints this out for you.

Got the poc order sheet sttus was D But I got this form before Christmas. To be sure it' been updated. And is tracking closed on just the forum or jeep tracking entirey?
