Rubi without the red dash

Check the 5:38 mark. How is this possible? I thought red was the only option?

Also, has anyone seen any aftermarket options? I saw some stuff at SEMA in videos, one blue one for example, but no links or info.

On Rubicons, if you get the black seats, you get the red dash. If you get the tan seats, you get the gray dash.

The exception are Mojito, Punkin and Hella....they all have the gray dash regardless of seat color. Guess Jeep decided red would clash with the exterior colors.

Just pick one up in grey if you prefer it, and swap it out. Once I get mine in, I'll see if I like it, and if not - that's the route I'll go.

I really expected not to like the gray dash with the Mojito. Or at all, for that matter. But it looks a lot nicer than I expected. I'm looking at a dash plate from Hauk Offroad to break up the monotony a bit, tho...

Wow the red and tan looks much better than I expected. I'd love to see someone make inserts. Guess I could just wrap it. I've been thinking a brushed metal black or gun metal would look good. The shiny grey plastic looks pretty cheap.

I really don't want to rip my dash apart. Was it quicker/easier than it looks?
