Any of the early installers on here have any problems with leaks yet? I’m considering getting one, and by now I figured most of the first installers would have either seen rain or washed their Jeep.

Mine arrives today. I plan to install this weekend or sometime next week. I’m curious about high pressure car washes. I’ll probably avoid that.

I installed mine around 10 days ago and it rained the last two days constantly, I drove About 100 miles in the rain yesterday, no leaks whatsoever! I don’t do carwashes and I have not washed it myself since putting on the Sunrider so I could not tell you if water pressure would make it leak or not.

Sounding good so far. On a new product, you’ll find a lot of posts about waiting for it, then some installs, but after that you don’t hear much unless you ask.
I guess that’s a good sign. People would definitely be complaining if it wasn’t right.

OMG, complaining seems to be what anyone ever seems to do on this forum!

I have about 500+ miles on my JL since the SR install. I'd say about 95 miles driven in heavy rain at 65 mph+ . NOPE, no leaks.

@everyone

In regard to the Bestop logo on either side of the Sunrider. IF, you don' like how it stands out ... how it looks, do know that the two logos come off the SR very very easily.

I found they pried right off of the cold SR, right when it was delivered. SR was about 35 degrees.

I took a plastic pry tool and got up under the edge of the narrow side of the logo, and it pried right up. Then just worked the edge up and the logo popped right off.

No adhesive to clean either thanks to a cold removal.

SR looks so, so much better without the logos on it.

There is also a warning sticker on the inside that comes off very easily.

Hey all! Is the Sunrider a top that can be taken off and removed completely with relative ease? I am thinking Sunrider for summer and Freedom panels in the winter. I just don’t want to have it be a chore to swap.

Thanks
