Hello,

I ordered my 19 Rubicon Sept 28th. I expected to get it sometime in November or December but I'm concerned it hasn't even moved to "D" status. Is anyone else still in C? I've got a bunch of restrictions: 24R, steel bumper, hard top, LED. I also noticed my invoice has ALP for advanced safety group but it doesn't have a description, just the intials and a price of 795 msrp. Is anyone else experiencing this?

yes. my order went in on september 22nd. Still in C status. I ordered a manual JLUR, with CWG, ALP, hardtop. ALP just had initials too. I talked to Jeep Chat on sunday and they said it was very unusual to be in c status still and "escalated."

My order sheet listed ALP with no description, and it was actually listed in the "Non Equipment" section. Thought it was weird at the time, but "Advanced Safety Group" did show up on my build sheet so apparently it wasn't a problem.

I'm new to the Jeeps. I had an old CJ7 years ago. How do I contact Jeep chat? And are you saying I should ask them to escalate? This will get it built quicker? I only have a von #, no vin.

Good to know. I was concerned it wasn't ordered correctly.

I spoke to the dealer today who had gotten info saying that there were 2 main options that were delaying my build: Steel bumpers and LED lights. Said if I kept my order as is, it would likely be Feb until it got built. Has anyone else been told this?

I have both of these options, ordered Oct 27, and went 'I' on Nov 22.

Lucky dawg! I don't understand how you ordered a month after me and yours is built. Did you have the hardtop and 3.6 auto too. Those were highlighted yellow (restricted) on my order too.

Hardtop, yes. 3.6, no. Plenty of those have been built as well. There isn't any rhyme or reason to things with these orders it appears, I would give up trying to make sense of it. I definitely did.

Nobody could explain to me why the option ALP - Advanced Safety Group shows up in the category "Non Equipment" and is also missing the several word description on the POC.

BUT, here is what ALP generates on a window sticker (in a JLR with manual trans) - so it's all good.

I wonder if "Non Equipment" means that they charge $795 to just turn on an option in the software, and that there is no additional hardware required to make the option work..
