ORDER TRACKING for your Jeep Wrangler

Hi. I didn’t make the deadline for tracking, but I’m hoping that once a spot is open, I’ll be given the chance for tracking. I ordered my Unlimited Rubicon Dual Top (manual transmission) on 12-13-17 and my dealer contacted me and told me I’m still in D status. The plant is Detroit. Are certain plants faster than others?

To my knowledge, the JLs are all built in Toledo. I’m pretty sure all of the Wranglers are.

I ordered on 2 January 2018 and received notice today that I am in D1 status with an estimated ship date of 16 January.

Quick question - my dealer sent me a POC from 4 Jan showing D1 status, but I haven't shown up on your spreadsheet in D1 yet. Just wanted to make sure I didn't get my wires crossed and fat finger something here. Thanks again!

nice- dealer called me today to say i was in paint and how excited the dealership was that i would be their first jlu. Checked spread sheet here and shows I (built sent to inspection). Shouldnt be too long now.

Sure moves fast once you move past D1

I ordered on 12/31, my dealer emailed me on Tuesday letting me know I had a VIN. And they just emailed me yesterday telling me my ship date is 1/20. When I said I thought that unfortunately wouldnt be realistic(lol) he told me from his experience the ship date turns out to be the build date. So I’m expecting it early March

This would make a lot of sense actually. Mine was built on my ship date...anybody else?

Mine is a hard top Rubicon, 4 door, automatic, painted HARD top, ordered on Oct 30th.... so not sure why mine is still in D1 when later orders are being built....

Maybe the painted top is holding you up?

I also went with only the premium soft top... Glad that you've had a good experience with it in Detroit. I'm a bit concerned about the winters being in New England!

Premium too JLUR Manual...went D status 28 days ago, nothing on D1 yet, fingers crossed!

I ordered November 10 and went D1 November 23 and had a estimated ship date of December 28 that changed around Christmas to January 8 . So just maybe the estimated ship date is really your build date .

I ordered the soft top only on the day it was first available to order (11/4) As far as I know, no one with soft top only has hit D1 yet. (Chime in if you have.) of course, my other order that is dual top from 10/25 hasn't hit D1 either.

Makes sense that the estimated ship date would be the estimated ship to dealer date. Then travel time and clean up is prolly 2-3 weeks from there depending on where your located.

The actual build only takes a day or so anywho.
