I wish @Rhinebeck01 would upload some photos of his JL so we could all check out that sweet rig of his!

Well, I was doing mods way back when you were merely a wet spot in your Dad's pants.... 8-)

My 2 dr. JL is pretty much stock. Have Ace sliders, Rigid back up lights, Mopar 3rd Brake Light Relocation kit, Black gorilla lugs, CB style antenna, Tazer JL and a few other mods. I have never said my JL was "sweet" or special.

Over the years, I have dropped hundreds of thousands of $ on mods... I know better then to do so now... I am in recovery lets say. I no longer have the modding disease. 8-)

I'm not sure how much you know about that little fire extinguisher... but it uses a technology developed for the space program in fixed installations. I think it is an Italian offering..

This hand held unit that fights fires by emitting a gas that interrupts the chain of combustion.

It's a totally clean extinguisher that does not rob oxygen and is totally safe and non-toxic and does not make a regrettable mess lets say when you use it...

I have more then one friend with high end sports cars, that have this extinguisher in their cars...

@Jeepmarkjl Can you tell how you mounted the holder. Did you use existing screw holes, had to drill or what?
I mounted it in the existing holes. Took maybe a 20 seconds for each mount. Torx 25 bit in a battery operated driver. the driver/passenger side was two screws. the rear was 3. (2 facing the cargo area and 1 on the other side that you access from back seat. Its a perfect fit mount. I now have the mounts on driver side, passenger side and one in the back .

Painted my @ROAM control arms a candy red to match my wheels. It's not an exact match, but it's close enough and I can touch them up myself rather than sending it off for powdercoating. It also matches the red around the Rubicon logos fairly well in certain lights.

Clean meaning no residue is left over from the discharge of the extinguisher. So one less thing to clean up other than your burned thing.
Yes I paid 100 bucks to put out matches and not protect my Jeep.
I like to throw money away without doing any research or looking stuff up this thing called Google or YouTube.
Such a waste of time - looking stuff up.
Much easier to just look stuff up, Google can be an amazing tool. Dont throw money away like that you have a brand new Jeep to pay for..that's silly.

My questions were serious ones, sorry if it didnt sound it. Jeez talk about taking things way out of context.

I think this thread should be renamed: "What did your mechanic do TO your Jeep JL today?" Or some posts should start with "I took my JL(U) to the mechanic/dealer etc. and they..."

Awesome setup!

Does the jack obscure the headlights at all? I am looking to mount mine in a similar place.
Thank you! It does a tiny bit but barely noticeable. Ideally it would be best on the rear tire carrier.

I was thinking the same thing.. just waiting for mopar to start releasing some accessories for the tailgate reinforcement kit. There are a few extra holes for future releases I guess. Thanks for the reply!

Man that’s a elitists statement thought we were just showing off what we love. Not all of us have the time to do it ourselves was just sharing. You don’t like the post don’t read it how about that!

They are good stuff... never EVER use an ABC extinguisher on the engine of a modern vehicle you hope to keep!
