Lol! Too funny! You can go in and edit your posts at any time by clicking or touching the word "edit" on your post.

Batten down the hatches Cristina! Y'all are gonna get hit again up there and we dodged another bullet down here!
Glad you’re spared. I’m still in Portland. My husband is there. We lived in Albany GA until about 16-17 years ago. We were there when they had some horrific floods. I remember taking our newborn daughter through knee deep water to get to the house. Crazy! Now they expect this storm to be a category I when it blows through town.
(I checked spelling, TJ, but can’t guarantee anything lol)

A month or so ago it was this...

Today it was this.... I opened the 2 drs. engine compartment hood and found this hanging out of the air filter canister opening. It was about 5-6 foot long so could not totally fit in the canister. This pic is of it after I got it out..

Do you always open the hood before leaving home? I guess from now on you probably will...

Good Mornin' all. Sunday I have my monthly shoot. Not quite IDPA but still defensive training. Today's plans are to head out in the desert near the UT/AZ border. There are a few geocaches I want to find plus the ruins of a fort and some actual dinosaur prints.
Ok. Gave into temptation and looked it up. I can’t help it if I’m uneducated... thank you, Mr Google!

Yesterday, I installed the check valve fix for the JL's rear washer nozzle. (the fix to stop it from dripping) After the install, i ran the rear washer to clear air out of the line and to insure fluid was moving, etc.. Anyway, I never replenished the washer fluid used.

Usually, the JL is garaged at night .... but I left the JL outside last night as I was working on a project in the garage.

Anyway, first thing this morning, I went to replenish the washer fluid and found it.

Yep - an adult treasure hunt :) I do it when we travel. It tends to take you to places that the average tourist wouldn't see. So far we've found caches in 74 countries. We hope to four more countries before the end of the year - Brazil, BVI, Croatia and Malta.

Morning all, been out of touch the past few weeks. Had an unplanned trip back to Wisconsin for family, then the day after I got back a friend came in from out of state. Ended up taking him and his son to the coast (Port Aransas) for a few days. Guests are leaving Saturday, should be able to get back to normal life. Really need to get back to my normal eating habits (been eating out way to much) and the morning gym schedule.

Grass is always greener...

Well in this case CT's grass really is greener. Maybe someday I can convince the kids to move back to Colorado, but for now I'll fly out and spend time as I can.
Except you’re allowed to smoke your grass! (Feel free to bring me some. ;-))

74 countries!! Very cool! What's the most memorable or interesting thing you found?

One I remember was in Tasmania. We were in a forest. No real trails - bush whacking. The clue said look for a Christmas tree. We looked at each other laughing thinking all the trees look like Christmas trees. When we got to ground zero there was an actual Christmas tree, fully decorated, complete with gifts! The gifts were the containers. We took one that had an ornament in it. Each year when we decorate our tree at home and hang that ornament we remember this cache.

:cwl:

I don't smoke, but I do enjoy the wide array of brews. 400+ breweries in Colorado. I look forward to sampling your state's offerings.
If you like IPAs, Two Roads’ “Road2Ruin” is a favorite of mine. Of course, it’s brewed in the town where I live so I’m biased.
