So how exactly do you track progress? Someone please simplify, I'm simple....

-Open spreadsheet attached to bottom of first post
- Use password you just received via private message
- Your username/VON will show up in Tab 2 at bottom of spreadsheet (along with all other orders regardless of status)
- If your order has moved to D1 status and beyond it will begin to show up on Tab 1
- Tab 3 shows all vehicles that have been delivered (only one so far which is a JK not a JL)

Kind of depressing that there's no movement from D to D1.

I think there is a simple explanation behind it. I believe the system is designed to work well when at full rate production, and it is not really set up to deal with the slow start and probable interruptions that is occurring as they bring this thing online slowly. They have the luxury, and are taking advantage of it, to slowly ramp it up to increase the odds of a successful launch without major quality issues or problems. This is because the JK is still in production.

I don't think they've invested much in making it real-time because the percentage of orders that are individual customers will ultimately be pretty small. Most people buy from dealer stock. This early, though, there is no dealer stock, so there is probably a higher percentage of customer orders than normal.

Of course, I'm pulling all of this out of my arse, because I really don't have anything better to do while sitting here waiting for my JL. "....Countin' flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all...."

Remember, production is slow, so it isn't like 1200 a day are piling up. Probably more like 300 to 400 per day, so once they release them, the distribution system should clear the backlog pretty well. Yeah, you won't get it before the end of winter break, but I still think January is possible. We'll see. I'm planning to go snowmobiling in Michigan in February and am hoping to take the new JL. I'll have the JK ready, though, just in case.

Yea the slow movement from D to D1 is disappointing but now that there is a lot of forward movement in D1 new slots will start opening up!

My dealer told me that I needed to re-order because of some changes that I made so I have a new VON #: 40757089.

He also got a VIN# 1C4HJXEG3JW133557

Status right now is listed as "D - Firm schedule: serial number is assigned"

Can you add this to the tracking please?? Thank you
