Updated. @AZCrawl has entered "I" status (pending final inspection/QC)!

Just a heads went to dealer today, mine in the system said ship date was today. Then when the went to print build sheet it said 1-4-18.
So I don’t think the system is being updated properly. My says D1 still but ship date of today and 1-4-18 now?
I think some of them have been built and still say D1

The estimated ship date is basically randomly assigned so you should not rely on that.

The items on the tracking sheet with time/date stamps should be accurate since they rely on it being scanned at certain points in production/shipping.

But yes, as we mentioned overall it does seem the tracking system is still buggy or not entirely up to date.

Got my updated order confirmation today. Not much changed. Estimated ship dated pushed from 1-3-18 to 1-8-18. I do have a question / observation though. So i noticed my order has Remote State, which is $495 but not heated seats or a cold weather package. Looking at the Jeep build site, it seems heated seats only come with the cold weather package, which is $595. So the cold weather is only $100 more and this includes, heated seats, steering wheel, engine block heater and remote start. This doesn't seem to make sense. Any thoughts?

Got my updated order confirmation today. Not much changed. Estimated ship dated pushed from 1-3-18 to 1-8-18. I do have a question / observation though. So i noticed my order has Remote State, which is $495 but not heated seats or a cold weather package. Check out the Alpine stereo and electronic infotainment options. Both are the same price. If you select Alpine you get an Alpine stereo for $1295 and if you select electronic infortainment you get Alpine stereo, 8.4" screen, nav, anddriod carplay and aoto dimming review mirror for $1295 as well.

The biggest to me was when we discovered the proximity remote was not included in the push button start and was a separate option not even made available when the orders first opened up.

I originally ordered mine on 10/24 but reordered yesterday. To many of the odoties like this. I will wait the extra month to make sure I get what I really wanted.

I also originally ordered wheel package thinking I would be getting the black wheels we have been seeing show up past six months. So that was a surprise to find out those were the standard wheels and not optional. Saves me $900. I plan to plastidip them black as soon as it is delivered to me.

I though about reordering as well, I didn’t get a headliner, proximity, body color top like I thought, kinda want body color fenders, and there’s the steel bumpers and upgraded wheels I thought I ordered but now I’m kinda glad I didn’t on those two.
May just stick with my build, get aftermarket wheels and tires immediately, then get aftermarket steel bumpers in 6 months.

I called FCA a few times and my order has been all over the place.
Today its still in D status.
Yesterday, they couldn't even find the order. The vin# came back to them as a 1988 model lol.
2 days ago, it had already shipped to the dealer.

This was my experience with calling the FCA, first time I called I was in KZ status, ready to be shipped to dealer, called about a week later and I was back in D status, waiting to be built. I have to believe that the later KZ status is actually accurate and whomever looked that up maybe was a bit more resourceful, he took about 15 mins to look for it, the last one where I was in D status, she took about 1 min to look. I think they are holding the jeeps though and likely will not ship any till sometime in January.

The JL VIN's are recycled M body 1988 model VIN's. Yep, hard to actually figure it out.
