Just for fun this is how much is a fully loaded Rubicon going for $56 000.00 plus tax and if you want a molar lifetime warranty you are in for a $65 000.00 car.. Houtch my Hear Rate is going up. Sales will tell but I believe jeep is trying to reproduce the JKU effect wrong!!! the JKU was affordable :-0

That's my choice. Have to add the 2.0 and Dual Top.
Look at the infotainment difference in the 2 interieur pictures.

You don't have to spend $56k on a Jeep guys. People are complaining about prices and keep saying fully loaded. Hell a base model JLU sport is already significantly more decked out than a JKU sport ever thought about being. For the extra $2k and change in price it's worth it. Go light on the options, there is no need to have a fully loaded or bust mindset. You can quickly trim the fat off a JLUR from a fully loaded $56k to a quick $46k and still modestly loaded. Ok so you don't get leather, or silly paint matched stuff, or fancy passing sensors, etc. First world probs! Options are out there.

I am going to be the first one to say this maybe... but all of you calculating what a "fully loaded Rubicon" would cost, I personally think that a fully loaded Rubicon (in terms) should have a manual transmission, not auto!!!!

Agreed. I configured mine out.

JLUR, auto, LED, tow, hardtop, and keyless. $42,934 (with TL discount) + dest + TT&L.

I can live with that. Now we wait.

I get why people want autos, multiple reasons there (limitations, dont know what a clutch is, or what have you) but I'm with ya....those that don't mind shifting, or prefer it whatever the case, can save a quick $2k!

I understand PA car sales tax is 6%.
Anyone know how much Tags and Licensing is? Just a general consensus?

Safe to say that Tax, Title, and Registration will be about $2500 bucks altogether.
Tax ~$2400
Title/Registration~$100

I speced out a base Sport JLU model with auto trans, hardtop, and uprated rear axle for around $35,000 including tax/destination/discounts. If going that route, I would later upgrade the wheels/tires to those of my preference, looking for a holiday tire deal. Still more than I would like to spend on a Jeep - but I can maybe live with that. It's still a Jeep with all the primary things you get out of the vehicle - top off, doors off, off-roading. I had loads of fun exploring in my old $1400 CJ5, probably more than I will ever have in a JL for the money. Infotainment? That CJ5 only had an AM radio. :)

Doesn't the Technology Group come with automatic dual zone climate controls? When I built my spec in the configurator, it's just showing the basic climate control buttons with no auto function nor dual zone. Maybe it's just a glitch in the configurator. Can anyone confirm?

Another big reason for the auto is traffic. I get in bumper to bumper traffic in Seattle sometimes and a manual sucks. Plus resale is much higher on an automatic. I've owned several manuals but not any more. You cant get remote start on a manual either.
