Just for fun this is how much is a fully loaded Rubicon going for $56 000.00 plus tax and if you want a molar lifetime warranty you are in for a $65 000.00 car.. Houtch my Hear Rate is going up. Sales will tell but I believe jeep is trying to reproduce the JKU effect wrong!!! the JKU was affordable :-0

I know I shouldn't complain, but my eyes are watering on some of these option prices.

900 bucks for heated seats/steering wheel and an extra button on the remote. that's about the same as what some german luxury brands charge for their overpriced cold-weather package.

900 bucks for LED lights? These are standard on some econoboxes.

I guess $1300 isn't too bad for Nav and a bigger screen

$800 for the towing package... wtf.

At least the paint options aren't more $$

500 bucks for keyless is insane. Also standard on many econoboxes.

First that is MSRP pricing. Second, you get a lot for them. The towing package also comes with a 240 AMP alternator and the Aux switches. LED lighting replaces all exterior lights with LED's as well as the inside lighting.

If you put all the options that are now standard on the JL on the JK then the JK would be just as expensive, but not as good of a car. It's a vastly improved car. If you don't want it then go on a kia forum and complain there. Tired of all the people crying. Don't pay for it then, and don't waste everyones time with your worthless posts.

Also a fully loaded JK is 53,660. So go save your $2,340 and buy a loaded JK because apparently thats "affordable" but 56k isnt....

A rubi with auto + diesel + every option (no mopar) + CA % tax will be ~ 61k for the MSRP. A bit higher than I thought, but all cars are getting more expensive, so it's to be expected.

I agree that it is expensive, more expensive than I hoped for. But a loaded JLUR vs a JKUR recon is only about 3k. I think that, my friends, is a steal. It's vastly improved, expect the 2019 year to go up even more
