Omgoodness lol. THis is amazing! How well does it sleep?

AHhh.. Comfort...now that’s isn’t what I made it for.... it’s about being in those special places when the sunrises and that cup of coffee is in hand. Never had a bad nights sleep I gave a care about when the sunrise stretches over beauty. BUT... yes.. it does provide a sweet sleep! Stargazing with the Soft top down is the best!

Considering a wrap to look similar to the white on red 2018 JL Easter Safari but red on granite. I wasn’t sure how it would look going over the textured hard top so I had the dash done in the same color and had a test section done. It actually looks amazing and am planning on going forward with the design.

It does look amazing!

Made a mount for fire extinguisher, driver side by rear gate. Added Nomex OveGlove.

How do you like the LOD sliders? They're on my short list.

I'm really liking them so far! They seldom serve as a step for the wifey, so that's a plus. I haven't had a chance to test them off-roading but they do look very strong - time will tell!

ooof today was both good and bad

Lets start with the bad

1) the rough country tire relocation bracket was not build correctly. Instead of a 2.5" rise i somehow got one w/ 45" of rise. Had to remove it and another is coming courtesy of rough country. Although it sucks that i got the wrong stuff to begin with i am glad they were able to get one shipped out. Hopefully things will be better the second go round. This is with the mopar reinforcement bracket as well

I guess the one good side is that it made my 37" tire look like a massive 40"

Issue number 2) i order the wheels and tires mounted and balanced from discount tire direct. It appears that one of them has something inside the tire that is rolling around and making a lot of noise. Now i have to take this to americas tire to try and have someone look inside and see what it is


Now onto the good.

The wheels and tires are mounted and the TPMS works. Also redid my Center brake light

Talk about a window blocker for sure. Are you going to do the tailgate reinforcement? Tire looks heavy.

Fender time. UPS is giving me a present later today. So I prepped ahead of time.

The tabs holding the fenders on essentially all broke. Oh well!

Going to have an attempt at cutting the stock inner liners.

Fingers crossed. Otherwise I'll be forced to at least get some fancy front liners as there is too much goodies exposed up there

Installed a new gas cap cover. Amazon link is below. Shipping from China took about 2 weeks. Honestly, it feels very solid and actually snaps in tighter than the standard trim piece. Only issue is the o-ring inside doesn't grab the gas stalk tightly. Other than that it feels very sturdy . Lid is made of aluminum. Install was a breeze.

Installed my cheap Amazon front camera(cargo cam), with help from my TazerJL(also hid under dash w/ OBDII extension cable(no photo).

You can reprogram the radio for multiple cameras?
