If you ordered from Lakeland, you should be price protected. Verify with Mike.
I did —I've got an email in to Mike. I just spoke with him yesterday, but neither of us caught the change at the time... we were addressing the build flow. He's been great though, and I don't have that feeling of dread that came automatically when I've worked with other dealers.

I do have a bit of PTSD from ordering my 2022—when it came in, the MSRP had jumped almost $2,500 from the time I locked in my order with a deposit. That dealer literally told me "take it or leave it". That was just after the pandemic when there were no Jeeps on lots. He said they could sell it over MSRP within a week, and given the landscape at the time, he may have been right. Begrudgingly, I took it.

Anyway... it doesn't feel like that. We'll see what shakes out.

I don't know how that sort of thing works, but I doubt the price for the dealer changed from the time it was ordered - which is the price you were quoted. If you locked in an order at a particular price I would have passed along that information to the attorney general of your state.

I had the wiring on a trailer hitch go bad on a new vehicle I bought - well under warranty I went to the dealer to get it fixed and the claim was that it was a 3rd party install. This despite the fact the vehicle had them stock for that trim level.

Once the dealership was contacted by the attorney general's office they called me in and in 30 minutes a new wiring harness was in place. Be willing to work with a dealer, but shady crap like adding 2,500 to the price isn't acceptable - don't argue, contact your attorney general.

The service manager had the audacity to tell me I should have brought it in a second time, this after contacting their office and the manufacturer which failed to arbitrate it - I didn't want to hear another song and dance, I simply told him "I don't argue".

Right on—good info for future reference. Live and learn, as they say. I'm not having any issues with the current dealer—in fact, they came highly recommended here on the forum.

I'm still waiting to hear back, but I chose this dealer after lengthy research (and after having been churned the last time). I really do think it will work out in the end. This time.

I wouldn't have behaved the way I did if I didn't get burned in the past.
I'd tell you the ways I've been taken, but these posts have a limit on length.

Jeep arrived and was going to fly out and pick it up this weekend but during PDI they found a hole in the back window. The replacement was supposed to show up last night but didn't. Looks like I get to play the waiting game again. A bit of a bummer 😕.

They should swap your window with a window on a vehicle they have in stock. If they have any 2-doors in stock...

That is a logical thing to do. So, I am sure there is some dealership or corporate policy against it. 🤷‍♂️

My dates are all over the place on the tracker LOL. Delivery ETA is supposedly March 20th.
Well, that’s a mess. Yeah, the tracker doesn’t display anything for me. Order placed 12/24/25 & I get this:

“There’s currently no information about your vehicle available. Please check again later.”

No picture, no dates, nothing. Check with your dealership for the latest status code. I was in “G status”, which is trim as of yesterday afternoon with an estimated ship date of 2/17 according to them. They can send you a sheet that shows the same. That’s how I’ve been getting info. I also get occasional email updates from Jeep because I opened a case number.

My 2-door Willys just shipped 2/5 (order confirmed 1/6) and I noticed two interesting things on the window sticker:

- Non–Vented Steel Hood
- A $700 price increase (maybe because of the steel hood?)

Mixed feelings about the steel hood, but excited to be getting my new jeep soon.

Same. The sheet my dealer sent me 01/08 listed “performance steel hood package” but the line item was $0. A new sheet sent to me Friday 02/06 listed it at $795.

Not sure how that nonsense will shake out for everyone, but my dealer said the original quote they gave me (before steel hoods became a topic of conversation) is price protected.

Pretty sure it should be $0, since that was Jeep doing Jeep things. It’s an option now on the builder, but wasn’t for some of us at order placement in late Dec to mid Jan.

Starting February 1, 2026, vehicles built with steel hoods instead of the standard aluminum version will show an adjusted price on the window sticker.
The dealer should honor the lower price from your original VON.
