Actually the Jeep wave is a Jeep thing. It started after the war. A vet would see another vet in a surplus Jeep on the road. Throw up the V for Victory. That is the story my father told me and that is the story someone told him from that group of dudes who stop the aggression of Adolf & the Emperor. I am sure my grandfather did the Jeep wave. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his actions in several battles in the Pacific.
Exactly. Keep the creature comforts, keep things separate, and dump the useless garbage. The HVAC system should also be separate and physical controls only. Most of the vehicle settings never get looked at, or they are set once and forgotten. Gauges belong in the dash, not as a page on a screen.

importunely so true. The other day, I disconnected the console iPhone cable to clean out the console. When I reconnected it, it said, unsupported device. Which is weird since all I did was unplug it, clean out the console, plug it back in. The same cable, not a knock off, the actually cable from Apple that has been connected for three years. I unplugged it and will try again this weekend.
