Yes, or the power dome , steel, due to an aluminum shortage

Do the new Rubicon's come with the Mojave hood? If so are they steel or aluminum?
I purchased a 2026 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon X the end of November. Mine came with the standard Rubicon aluminum hood. I just went out and checked it with a magnet. It sounds like it may be the luck of the draw on what Jeep had in inventory at the time of assembly. Congratulations to ahedgpe on the beautiful JLU.

Very nice! There are no 37’s available from the factory, but I would check your build sheet for 4.56 or 4.10 gears…the 4.56 are standard with the xtreme recon package and 35” tires. Cheers!

Well my wife is the primary driver and she’s short… So out of necessity will need rock slides with steps. Otherwise thinking of steel bumpers.
The Rock Slide Engineering sliders/steps were the first option on my 2023 Rubicon that came with AEV lift, Bumpers and 37's. They were a deal breaker for my wife's OK to get it.

I was really starting to wonder where you were going with that answer … 😂

Yep same! When i lifted the Jeep, the RSE steps had to go on at the same time for the wife.

Unless, like my Rubi X, a manual transmission, it still comes with 4.10 gears and 33” tires. Unfortunately us manual transmission folks can only opt for 4.88 gears and nothing else. At least for my 2025. I honestly think the 4.56 or 4.88 gears are a better match for the manual.
You have an exotic vehicle. :) I agree 4.88 is what it is at. It's annoying that you can't option 4.88 with the ZF8 - that is what I wanted to run 37s. 4.56 is OK, but 4.88 is better.

Ordered a 2026 Rubi X in Oct. Came with 4.56 gears as part of the package.

My 2024 X has 35s and the 4.56. I did not realize that the new ones have a 37"/4.88 option. Does it still have the 1.5 Mopar lift? If so, I wonder if the tires will make contact with something fully stuffed offroad.

Just curious if you have real world experience with the gearing. I currently have a 22 Rubicon with the 4.10's and its pretty sluggish pulling my trailer with a couple of quads. I'm thinking about trading it in to get one with the 4.88's. I'm also thing about just giving up on the MT because the last 2 I had were recalled. I'm also considering a Willys with the Extreme Recon and joining the land of automatic...Any suggestions?

4.56 or 4.88 will be best and I far prefer the AT over the MT when it comes to the Jeep.

I'm just a creature of habit and the MT has been in my life a long time lol. I don't like change so I'm torn.
