We have been stewing on these for a while. Body mounted sliders just don't get the job done, and most of the frame mounted options out there don't look great or cant function as a step! Our HardLine Rocker Guards are manufactured form 3/16 steel plate and incorporate a unique approach to rocker guard design that allows you to remove the fully welded outer shell for cleaning, painting, or replacement if you somehow manage to damage the outer shell.

These things are absolute BEEF

20% off Introductory Pricing will end in the next few days, when it does end, our JL forum discount code will work (they are not stackable).

What are the differences between the weld-on version and long arm compatible version In terms of the mounts?

Any photos?

Also, any edge views showing amount of “step” from the body?

Thanks
I would like to know how the weld on mounts/long arm mounts work as well. Do they mount in a fixed location on the slider body, or can the mounts be welded anywhere along the frame to accommodate for different long arm setups?

some photos from a few trips to hard trail would be convincing.
We have ran this design (slightly different aesthetic) for 2+ years wheeling from North Georgia into Moab, and up into the Oregon Coast). This design has been put through a ton of testing.

@CavFab_mfg

Also any pictures to show step area from side to see stick out? Maybe measure it?

I just ordered 1 set of LOD signature sliders (had 2 in cart) i can im order details to yall to see im not kidding, a few minutes ago and need to order a set of sliders for mine, Or hers depending on which ones she likes better.

We have mangled 2 sets of stock rubi slider things 🙄 in just a couple of outings, so frame mount w/o welding is ideal. (Even these can still be welded on if need be)
Like this?

They stick out 3.75" at the B Pillar.

Quick question since I was ready to hit send on a set of lod ones...tonight

Since they are 3/16 steel, why do you need another layer of 3/16 steel or alum.?

@CavFab_mfg

The skins allow you to replace or have a piece to remove and 'clean up' on the outside edge of the slider body. This way, the skin is what is getting mangled and not the body of the slider. They also clean up the look in my opinion. They are optional, and can be added down the road if you dont want to get them to start with.

Yes,I quoted myself
It's 50/50 for adding another layer of protection and adding style to something that is traditionally designed around pre-engineered structural shapes.

no skin at all is very strong and provides a really clean look. but if you want to drive by brail 3/8" worth of steel plate is fun to think about turning boulders into gravel with pure 🥩

We are going to run the ones on our JL as the bolt on option with aluminum skins to show how strong this kit is until our JL longarm kit is available. and then we will switch out the mounts to the weld on longarm compatible rock slider version.

Our JT will have the weld kit on from the start to accommodate our JT longarm kit.

The sliders themselves are 94lbs / for both left and right side.
the brackets are another 45lbs for all 6 frame brackets.

this is without any skins.

any future chance to do this and keep oem rubicon slider in place, sure looks like it would be easy.
