What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Mounted a sub to side of trunk by building a mounting board with a 2x6. I gave up on the tailgate mount due to not wanting to pay another $200 for wire + professional install. It sounds great with no vibrations. Looks like this:

Installed a Rusty's winch plate, Smittybuilt X2O winch, light bar and a Rugged Ridge Spartacus bumper on my JL Sport today. Did a few modification to give it a clean look. Took the cover plate and cut it so it would fit over the winch leaving on the control box and gearbox lever showing.

Drove across the state of Arkansas today. Southeast corner to the Northwest corner in my one week old wrangler JL sport s. Top down, window panels off. 94 degrees with the music playing as loud as it could go. I am definitely going to love my Jeep!!
I was so shocked that I did not pass anyone with their top off!!! I bet I passed 100+ Wranglers, soft top included, not one with the top down, windows down, doors off, etc.
Y’all missed out!!!

Removed bumper end caps. Built top lift pro, took top off for the first time, installed jtops usa mesh top.

Got the front half of the Evo 3.5” lift installed! Nice to be working on a brand new rig vs the 20 yr old rigs I’m use to.

-Grill blackout (no more silver).

-vinyl orange JEEP overlays.
-@ROAM sidesteps (line x).
-@pixeldecals hood decals.
-295/70/17. Wheels +18.
-Rubicon Express 2.0.
-RK front adj trackbar.
-RK lower control arm drop brackets.
-Alienshade.
-gpca orange grab handles.
-Winch brand not decided yet.
-Rear bumper is next.
-Waiting on DV8 skid plate.
-Waiting on upgrading to 35's. Need to burn through the 33's first.

Got some new socks and shoes. Fuel Assault 18x9 with +1 offset and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/18. Needless to say she's stuffed and needs a little lift!

Nice socks and shoes . Can you send us more photos especially from the front and rear. I want to see how much the tires stick out for a 1” offset. Thanks buddy.

Added mag lite and poison spider roll cage holster. Anyone know if alkaline batteries will survive the summer heat in the jeep or am I gonna be looking at a mess in the mag lite in a few weeks?

Also added some cup holder accent mats!

Can you post a pic with the mag lite in it? How do you like the holder? Thanks.

Where did you connect the sub to? Thought about putting mine in also.

Which one did you install and how long did it take ya?

Mopar. Started at 9am. Finished around 3. That included lunch. Did it myself, no help and took my time.

Slapped the stock wheels back on, installed the Mopar 7" off-road lights, and took it out on a couple trails. I'm bummed the beadlock wheels didn't work out, but it drives phenomenally better this way.

Updated post to my controversial spare lug nut install.

So I bought two wheel studs at Advanced Auto Parts part # Dorman 610-329.

About a week or so ago, I did this. I purchased the two, Dorman 610-329 (M14-1.50 Serrated Wheel Stud) wheel studs at Carquest Auto Supply for $4.00 each. I already had washers.

I have the Mopar 3rd Brake Light Relocation Kit and wanted to get lugs in the two empty wheel holes, to pretty it up. 8-)

Anyway, well worth the $8.00 and the few minutes of time to install..
