G’morning unicorn Jeeples

It was not a good night. Started to really not feel well in the afternoon & it was all downhill from there. Felt like my head was in a vice & was going to implode from pressure, which also led to some unpleasant dizziness. Then my body couldn’t figure out if it was hot or cold, so it went back & forth between the two. Still feeling pretty crappy, but power through it I must! I can’t wait to get to bed tonight! In the meantime, it’s Friday Eve!!!

I am in Catskill often. I occasionally stop in the Riverside Chill and Grill at Dutchman's Landing. Are you in that area?

I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t even know about Dutchman’s Landing until now! Looks like a cool spot. I’m in the Catskill Mountains rather than the Town of Catskill, but the Catskills cover such a large area that anything within a one-hour radius is practically next door.

That being said I’m among the poor souls who ordered a 2.0L Turbo months ago and I don’t even have a window sticker yet, so it will probably be another month or two before I have a JL to show off.

Urgh, sinusitis are the worst!!! I used to get them often as a kid and they would always make me grumpy, headachy and tired (can’t sleep well). Hope you feel better very soon! Drink a lot of tea!

I hear that. When I walk outside in the morning, it's like walking into a wall. The humidity is so oppressive!

Weather always affects me, which is why I love Colorado and can't move back to Michigan where my parents call home.

I know life will look much better after that cup of coffee.

Chronic sinusitis sufferer right here!!!
My septum is deviated in two places & my nasal sinuses are full of polyps. I was going to have surgery to correct it all a while ago, but decided not to. I’m so severely allergic to things that don’t really bother me, for the most part. Opening up my nasal passages for all the irritants to flood through didn’t seem like the best choice.

Man I wish I had a garage

It's a Harken Hoister most use to store their canoes or kayaks, but they make great hardtop lifts. This one is rated at 145 lbs and can hold the top fairly easily. I put in extra eye hooks so that I can also use ratchet straps as a secondary hold, but it hasn't been needed.

The cover is a bit of a pain. If I had a soft top I wouldn't have needed to bother.

(My OCD made me turn the spare so the red Jeep was at the bottom.) lol

Funny you mention that... I thought I'd never leave CO either, but actually did move back to MI to be closer to my parents. I actually love Michigan, but for sure miss the mountains. Someday may move back!

Ugg, Giant fires have the morning sun and sky orange. The biggest off road areas in northern CA have been on fire since I got my JL,

The last 2 years of fires are like nothing I have ever seen, its beyond crazy and hellish.
