My first duck was from a little kid on the trail. It's not on display on my dash, of course, but it's the only one I've kept.
My old man gave me a submarine duck (he spent 23 years in em) and its the only one that stays in the Jeep, and I usually remember to toss it on the dash when we wheel. When we go to events my wife brings some cause she likes the community and has had a coding support duck for a long time.

Yep, no ducks on my dash, but I do keep two on my office window sill. The first one was given to me by a young kid in the Walmart parking lot in Kerrville before I even knew about the duck thing. He was gushing over my Punk'n Jeep. The second one was given to me earlier this year at a truck stop by an elderly couple in a silver wrangler on my way home from picking up my new Jeep in Denver. A Mojito duck for a Mojito Jeep. I shit-canned all the others.

I do understand the appeal of the duck to both young kids and the elderly. I have no issues with that.

This is some deep psychological software engineering shit! As a geo-engineer, I don't talk to dirt. Even if I did, it wouldn't listen anyway.
like the classic "Cant complain, cause no one would listen anyway."

You are correct, sir. The times I've tried to explain things to dirt, the dirt just stares back at me and says "I'm dirt, what do you want me to do about it, you moron!"

That dirt sounds a lot like my jeep.

mostly told me to stop banging your mother and wife.
Mom is six feet under, but still found more length and girth in the worms. Left a Yelp review: two stars, would not recommend you to her besties at the graveyard.

and not funny.
Bad dad, that’s what he said or she said, and I like my women like I like my…jokes are not funny to anyone but boomers. That’s the whole point, to annoy everyone else. You’ll see once you are old.
