Sounds like a plan guys! Cutthroat Cafe at 8:00AM, with the intention of leaving around 9:00-ish when everyone is done.

Cutthroat Cafe
157 Main St, Bailey, CO 80421

How is cell service in Bailey Co? do we want to start a group text chat?

Do we want to choose a GMRS channel now, or not a big deal figure it out in the parking lot?

Anything else we can do ahead of time?

Cell service is decent in town. Not so much on the trail.

I figured we can figure out details like GMRS in the parking lot.

Hey everyone, I'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon from Minnesota, arriving in Bailey Co Saturday sometime, for the Sunday ride. .. So I probably won't be responding to this thread much as I'll be traveling. ..

See you guys there! Cutthroat Cafe.

Also, just clarifying since the title says the 18th.. . Everyone knows we're all going Sunday the 17th correct?

Also heading to CO tomorrow with arrival in Canon on Saturday. I won't make this run after all. Close, but not this time.

Looking forward to the pictures you guys post. ✌

For some reason I'm not getting notifications for this thread even though it's on my watch list. Hmph. Last night I realized I had not heard anything and tried to check in but of course the forum was down for upgrades. Double hmph.

I am planning to attend though dealing with some personal issues ATM so still a bit of uncertainty; what's the best way to reach folk re. last-minute changes? Is there a list of who is planning to attend?

I would rate my driving skill at "modest". Still learning the Jeep, have only been out a couple of times this year, and many years since I was off-roading regularly. But I did put on the Sunrider this morning. :) I have a decent set of hand tools and recovery gear with me at all times, and a winch (it's electric, I think).

It's around 2 hours from my house to Bailey per Google, and I'll need to gas up in town, so may be a little late (no longer used to getting up at 4 am to go to work, or anyplace else).

Looks like:
Ricky @yokramer
Roy @grimmjeeper
Gary @Krondor
Troy @191185
? @Powelligator
Rusty @gek (?)
John @J.Ferreira (riding with Roy?)
? @CO2Wrangler
Don (me, hopefully) @DonH63

Any others? That was from a skim of the thread so I may have missed some (and didn't get all the names).

I can see this thread on my phone, so updates here are probably OK. There's a Conoco station (I think) about 100 feet from the restaurant in Bailey, and the trailhead is pretty close to that, so you'll be fine. It'll be a good day.

OK, sounds good. How long does it usually take to run Red Cone (plus Webster Pass, I assume)?
