Cell service is decent in town. Not so much on the trail.

I figured we can figure out details like GMRS in the parking lot.

For some reason I'm not getting notifications for this thread even though it's on my watch list. Hmph. Last night I realized I had not heard anything and tried to check in but of course the forum was down for upgrades. Double hmph.

I am planning to attend though dealing with some personal issues ATM so still a bit of uncertainty; what's the best way to reach folk re. last-minute changes? Is there a list of who is planning to attend?

I would rate my driving skill at "modest". Still learning the Jeep, have only been out a couple of times this year, and many years since I was off-roading regularly. But I did put on the Sunrider this morning. I have a decent set of hand tools and recovery gear with me at all times, and a winch (it's electric, I think).

It's around 2 hours from my house to Bailey per Google, and I'll need to gas up in town, so may be a little late (no longer used to getting up at 4 am to go to work, or anyplace else).

I can see this thread on my phone, so updates here are probably OK. There's a Conoco station (I think) about 100 feet from the restaurant in Bailey, and the trailhead is pretty close to that, so you'll be fine. It'll be a good day.
