A lot of the discussion lately got me thinking about this Nike Golf commercial from a couple years ago. (Back when they still made golf clubs, lol)

I understand progress is scary, guys. But I promise it's a good thing. Or you can just use your persimmons until the day you die. That's always an option too.

I can’t stand Cherokees.
I would appreciate if you edited that comment. More appropriate would be I can't stand KLs. XJ Cherokees are considere by many to be legends :)

Since my post includes a photo of the offensive model, it’s explanatory. I do agree earlier models were great.

Pretty sure visually impaired individuals use the web also, so... ;) meant it in jest anyway

Speaking of progress, I'll be putting my order for a JL as soon as Sprintex or Magnuson releases a supercharger for it cos I can't go back to a naturally aspirated Pentastar again but I think your post is one in the category of being "off topic" at best.

Sure, people don't have much to talk about right now but that's a good time to listen instead of being condescending. Just saying...

Reminds me of another golf commercial. (My cousin and I experienced this a lot when golfing, so it struck a chord at the time).

People have preconceived notions of the JL(U) before they even know pricing, or get in one... kinda like the JK(U]... and then later... many of them change their tune when they actually experience one.

Of course there will always be those for whom the JK, TJ, YJ, CJ, Willys was the last ‘real Jeep’ and all the complaints about each new generation.

The shark-nose Cherokee has really grown on me. I didn't like it at first, but now I think it's cool. Different from every other car on the road, and not in a hideous way like the Juke. Hyundai and Toyota were copying the style for their concepts in L.A.

I also see a lot of them around too, so they must be selling.

It's just unfortunate that they named it the Cherokee. Would have been better to call it the Shark or Razortooth or something.

Jeep Wrangler JL Progress is a good thing, guys. crossover
