I’m well past being a petrol head with making noise. I now enjoy the quietness of my hybrid and most importantly the dollars saved by not having to pay for petrol as much as I did before my plug in BMW. What ever distance I travel it is made up of a minimum 50-55% battery mileage.
Once Jeeps...
I own a BMW Plug In hybrid which has immediate torque. Any replacement vehicle will be a Plug In hybrid.
I would like to replace my BMW convertible with a Plug In convertible but they are years away.
I differently do not want to wait around waiting for an EV to charge to 80% and even longer if...
If you have money to burn then buy the JL but my jeeping days are over for me as there is no way I’ll pay these kind of dollars. The JL will depreasate a lot faster than a JK did as the second hand price of a JK will pull the price down.
Had a look at my first new JL Wrangler yesterday and it doesn’t come up to much or the price Jeep think they will command. This will be the end of the wrangler in a very short few years.
Now add a battery pack next year and the JLU will fly. My BMW 225xe goes from 7.5 seconds engine only to 5.8 0-62mph using both engine and battery together. I will wait another 2 years before I'll look at buying.
I'll get to test drive a JL end of July and also find out if the right hand drivers well is wider than the JK which leaves no room for the left foot. The JK's V6 engine is s@#t and sold my JK within 6 months of ownership.
You're not getting my point. Wrangler was a cheap buying 4x4 that you could build on now it almost has autonomous driving if it wasn't for its fold down wind screen it would have. Why did it need all the extra expensive bells and whistles as it was selling in record numbers in America. All it...
Once Jeeps gets past the first 12 months of sales to the die hard Jeep buyers I still believe Jeep will then find it hard to sell Wranglers due to its price. Unless discounting happens.
Jeep has done a huge mistake with these over priced JL & JUL's and once the hype is over Jeep will find these over priced Wranglers will not sell. There are a lot better designed and manufactured vehicles being built than these over priced Wranglers.
Fait is slowly destroying Jeep.
I...
If this is the same JL Rubicon exterior design for Right Hand Drive I'll not be purchasing as it is hideous. I was looking forward to purchasing as well.
I'll import a US full spec 2 door Rubicon into New Zealand. Left hand drive has a lot more room in the drivers well. Warranty would be an issue as Jeep I don't believe does a world wide warranty like BMW.
Correct there is no RHD manufactured yet but what I was trying to ask was if one of you guys could check the sizing of the right handle foot well to see if it's the same as the your LHD footwell.
If one of you new JL owners can check out the room and measurements of the right interior footwell as I haven't been able to drive a RDH JK due to the gear box/engine housing took up space so I had to twist my left hip/leg to the right which upset my left hip and this only happens in RDH...
