I'm trying to find part #s for the OE coil isolators. Anybody know of a site where you can look this up? They're easy to find for JK, but I guess since JL is still relatively new I can't find any listings.

I'm going to try and stack OE isolators on top of each other to add 1/4" of lift to the rear so that my Jeep will be level with this RC kit. I figure stacking factory isolators is the cheap route to do this.

Me too. I just received my lift kit and want to make sure I got the updated isolators. Am I correct in thinking that the 1st gen were black and the corrected ones are Gray? Here are the part numbers of the (Gray) ones I received...

R - 68342250AB
L - No part number present, just has a couple 'L's on it.

I didn't realize they had updated ones. I wonder why?

The new drivers side isolator per this TSB it is part #68427380AA. Kind of odd they do not have that number stamped on the newly created fix. What people are saying is that the new isolator pad will be more flat when you look at the rectangular ridges that circle the pad. The old one causing all the funk had a high ridge at one point along the pad. If your new pad looks more flat all the way around, I say you are good to go.

The stock pads from factory are the black pads. The 2” Mopar lift are the gray pads, original release and revised Mopar ones are same gray color.

Thanks for the comments but we should take the lift kit isolator posts to one of the lift kit threads. WXMan is looking for part(s) unrelated to the lift kit.

Did you ever find out? I’m looking for the upper rears as well, no luck. Even the dealer has the wrong part number.

Nope no luck yet. Going to check with my dealer again at next oil change to see if they have part #s yet.

After speaking with MULTIPLE dealers, I was able to get one that called upper management direct. I was told the part number for the upper rears were left out of the catalog, and was given a part number. I will be picking up the isolators today after work, and if they are the right ones, I’ll post the part number.

That looks like it. Thank you so much for posting. So I have one more question... Does it appear that those isolators are stackable? Can you put one on top of the other and have it fit like a puzzle piece?

No prob. I’m no mechanic, but I wouldn’t stack those.

Thanks again for posting this. Just to update this thread, I ordered two of these isolators last night. Been hectic this year. Just now getting around to it. My plan is to take a Dremel tool and trim down the coil locators on them so that they are smooth all the way around. This, in theory, will allow me to stack them onto the existing isolators and I expect that they'll stick together well.

The net effect should be a 0.5" additional lift for the rear, which will give me the factory stance back again and eliminate the "stink bug look" that the Rough Country kit causes. This will also benefit me while towing and hauling, which I do fairly often. The JL will sit the way it was intended to.

If it works as expected, I'll post pictures.
