Wrangler 2022 Willy's
2022 2 door Willys.

New... Mopar 2" lift kit (fox shocks)-it comes with everything! Shocks, springs, etc.
Mopar Oversized spare tire kit
Mopar Tailgate reinforcement kit
Mopar high mount stop light relocation kit (better visibility vs. the original top mounted brake light)
Mammoth 8 Aluminum Mat black wheels (17 x 9), -6mm offset
Falken Wildpeak R/T 01 Tires 315/70R17
Black 6 spline lug nuts
I added the DV8 roof rack also a while back. Fits perfect and no whistling.

Original: Firestone M/T 255/75R17 and Moab wheels 17 x 7.5.

The ride is greatly improved and smoother with the new set up. The tires are quite quiet also (cannot hear the hum). Pleasant on the local streets and highway. You can finally have a conversation without the added noise.
The Falken R/T are between a MT and AT and have that aggressive tread pattern all over including the sidewall without the M/T ride.
The offset is just right for the ("stick out") vs. the flush standard per original. The Mammoth wheels are very high quality and are actually more like a satin black finish. As per advice from members- the original wheels (too small) will not fit with the new larger tires. The original lug nuts also will not fit due to too wide!

Hope this helps others considering an upgrade like this!

I'm liking those tires. I'm considering 38" R/Ts.

Hello...the dealer adjusted accordingly. Also alignment, rear camera, all the recommended stuff, etc. (I am friends with the service manager for years). I purchased all the above parts myself. Due to the size of the tires, wheels-had delivered direct to them. Believe me I checked everything completely including after installation. Rides great...no noises or squeeks!

You should look into Hotheads Headliner and floor kits. HUGE difference.

I think their point was pushing 35" tires with a stock Willys 3.45 differential gear ratio.

The Jeep fits fine through the standard garage door height even with the roof rack. Also the rear hatch glass when open does not hit it.

Just added rock crawler 3.5” springs to my mopar 2” lift. After 2 years of hauling all my gear and my 35” tire and a new steel bumper, a bit of sag in the back. Perfectly level now with the new rear springs. Ride feels stiffer and more planted on the road. I don’t feel like I’m looking at the sky anymore. Actually, the only things left from the original lift are the front springs and the fox shocks

Differential settings...
There isn’t really such a thing. It would require opening up the rear transfer case and installing new gears with a gear ratio such as 4.56 or 4.88, etc. Sort of a big job. Now once the gears are swapped out and everything put back together then the dealer would have to reprogram your Jeep’s computer module or you could use a Tazer programmer and do it yourself.
Good looking 2 door Willys you got. Would be interested in hearing your feedback on your new tires once you get some mileage on them.

Regearing isn’t done at the transfer case. Both the front and rear differential need to be regeared at the same time.
