What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

30 minutes to put the Roam’s on, 2 hours to wire and the lights still aren’t working. I know it’s my fault but I went fishing, no time to figure it out but I love them.

Couldn’t seem to upload two photos from my phone but I hardwired my dash cam too via the front lighter. I was hoping to attach it to the mirror so it was a bit more hidden but it wasn’t going to stay so this will have to do.

Do you have the factory HD tow group? Are you getting warning lights when your have a trailer attached? Did you use the Jeep Cherokee connector with your brake controller?


Did you take the off the jeep to plasti-dip them?

No, I don't have the factory tow package. Added the hitch and 4 pin trailer hookup. No trailer brakes. No warning lights yet. Pulled the trailer about 300 miles yesterday

I did get it out on the beach at OBX for the first time today without doors! Good times...too bad the next few days looks like crap weather. Smh

I took my stock Sport S bumper and bolted on a like new Rubicon steel bumper I bought off CL.

Ive been thinking more and more about installing a steel rubicon bumper on my Sport. I think that will be the next major mod. Should be helpful in head on collisions...wish i woulda had one on my PT lol when i had my wreck. Nice mod!

Took the soft top off and threw on my Cargo Cover and Sunshade before hitting the trail. Also got around to slapping my hood decals on.

What cargo cover is this?

Well, modern bumpers are made to absorb impact by crumbling. The steel bumper is great at mitigating bodily damage, but it will bend your frame far easier in less severe collisions, which would likely total your vehicle.

Yeah, cargo rack is on a 12" extension and is loaded pretty good. Back of the Jeep is loaded with stuff too.

Had question for ya, if you don't mind. I still have stock suspension on my Sport S. Only looking to go to 33" tires. Do you think that will fit in factory set up ? What are the shocks and springs you put in ? Would just some spacers work ? I'll be camping mostly, no rock climbing so not looking for big set up. Appreciate it.

I ran 315s in my stock sport suspension for 2000+ miles with no issues at all
