After washing my Wrangler this evening, I had it running for a few minutes so I can roll down the windows and clean the tops of them. After turning it off, I noticed steam or possible smoke coming from the front end. The headlights were on since we have a sunshade put in that blocks the light sensor and triggers the auto headlights. This made the steam more pronounced. I checked under the hood and everything seems okay. I didn't smell anything weird and there were no warning lights. I checked underneath and there's no fluid leaks. I'm wondering if it was just steam evaporating off of the radiator possibly? I turned it back on and off and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I maybe paranoid or oblivious but I just want to make sure that this is normal or something I should be concerned about.

In the northern states it is more visible this time of the year. Water steams off a hot radiator no matter where you live.

Normal. Water evaporating off a hot engine, radiator, etc.
That's what I figured. Just making sure. Thank you for clarifying.

Your fine, relax, breathe
I know, I feel ya. I'm not that worried over it. It was getting dark so I guess I was able to notice it more with the headlights on than I would have during the afternoon or something. I figured it was normal since nothing happened. Thank you.

As we at the North are accustomed to the hot radiator/water vapor steam, I am more intrigued by the statement about "sunshade to block the light sensor".
Can anyone explain this "mod" to me, please?

Guess he wants the headlights on 24/7. Blocking the light from hitting the photo cell would keep them on.

You will also see steam coming off the hood and any lights. Nothing to worry about.
