Did you remove the vent to install the decals?
Thanks
Wasn't totally necessary but yes I did...5 seconds to do it right with a plastic pry tool

I had a productive week. Installed:

- Fire extinguisher
- Cobra 75 cb radio
- Cool Tech CB antenna mount
- Grab handles
- Door sills
- Bought misc tools to service my Jeep
- Stubby radio antenna
- Rear seat covers for my fur kids

And I got it out on an off-road 4wd trail for the first time

Bought it on Amazon. It came with the red and black wire about a foot long with bare ends. I kept the factory plug on the wiring harness, but about six inches from the plug that would have gone to the factory 3rd brake, I stripped the wires and soldered the two wires from the LED ring onto the wiring harness.

Also, both this one and the Rugged Ridge one do not come with a hole (none on the RR and too small on this one) big enough to go over the backup camera protrusion. So I had to use a hole cutter from Harbor Freight to make the hole big enough. The exact size you need is 2 3/4 but the set I bought came with a 2 1/2 and a 3 inch so I used the 3 in. To keep it from spinning as I drilled/cut. I put it on top of a piece of wood that I had laying around and put 4 finish nails partially nailed through the lug holes on the rig to keep it stationary.....worked like a charm.
Too much work. No cutting, drilling, nailing or anything with this one. And it's less than $25.

Just got back from vacay in San Diego... I got SO jealous of all the Wranglers I saw there naked. So when I got home, first thing I did was just that. Get her NAKED! I finally mustered the courage to do so... I was worried about chipping paint. I used blue tape all over. Got it out no issues. I was disappointed to see some chipping on the one bolt that attaches the hinge to the frame. Does anyone else have this? Likely from Fiat Chrysler assembly plant themselves, as I’ve never removed the doors before and they were already there. I used some touch up.

Anyways, truly enjoyed the Jeep drive today. I drove it like it was meant to be. I left the top still “installed” because I might go Safari style sometimes.

Is that the Rubbermaid garage system you are using to hang the doors? What hooks are you using?

I’m interested in this as well. Thinking about doing the same. Just not sure what hooks to grab

Installed DRL take offs to my sport fenders. Took me quite a long time but was able to figure it out. The sport lights were smaller which all I need to do for it to fit was cut my fender a bit more and then it sat right in.

Yup, we have some land in Mt. Enterprise, Texas, a little north of Nacogdoches (bout 2.5hrs north east of Houston). It's been passed down through my family from generation to generation. It's been in the family since before Texas was a state (literally) LOL! :movember:

I hadn't been on it in 6 months and when we returned...the road going to the property looked like a trail! It looked washed out, as that area had been getting lots of rain. It didn't look familiar tbh..we were all shocked at the change. Every picture posted here, is of a road on our property...even with those bushes and saplings right in the middle. I drove through it to get to a clearing on the site.

Picked up the Jeep on Friday afternoon and headed out of town to Nac that night. :sun:

@TaiMc very cool to have a piece of property to roll on outside the concrete jungle, Houston is a big city with lots to offer but getting out of the city is a nice treat :jk:

Yess! I like Houston...born and raised here. But a lot my time was also spent in the "country"...it was a huge part of my childhood and all through my life I've had to get my "fix" of nature. That's something that Houston can't provide me with: clean air, quiet, and a sky full of stars at night! I literally "crave" it sometimes...to where I HAVE to leave Houston and get out of the city and recharge. Typically happens every 3-4 months with me. At one point I used to travel to see family up that way and be on the land once a month, but as my PT got older and more miles put on her, I couldn't do it as much. Really glad that is no longer a problem...and I can go when I see fit.

That’s a great plan and close getaway, I’m a Houston transplant and even though I like the city and all it has to get offer I love the idea of unplugging and getting away and you don’t have far to do that and that’s pretty sweet.
