What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Bought it on Amazon. It came with the red and black wire about a foot long with bare ends. I kept the factory plug on the wiring harness, but about six inches from the plug that would have gone to the factory 3rd brake, I stripped the wires and soldered the two wires from the LED ring onto the wiring harness.

Also, both this one and the Rugged Ridge one do not come with a hole (none on the RR and too small on this one) big enough to go over the backup camera protrusion. So I had to use a hole cutter from Harbor Freight to make the hole big enough. The exact size you need is 2 3/4 but the set I bought came with a 2 1/2 and a 3 inch so I used the 3 in. To keep it from spinning as I drilled/cut. I put it on top of a piece of wood that I had laying around and put 4 finish nails partially nailed through the lug holes on the rig to keep it stationary.....worked like a charm.

I've never worked on the inside of a vehicle before. I watched several YouTube videos and read some threads on this forum to learn how to route the antenna and power wiring.

Ordered the sport replacement grille 68316767AC, wrapped with white vinyl and cut out the slots and headlights to simulate black grille inserts on my sport.

That looks great - nice job

Got rid of the OE Exhaust and went with Magnaflow Pro Series Cat Back, love the sound and the placement of the down pipe(before rear axle)
Only thing not happy with Extreme Terrain at all. On its website it states that this setup will fit a 2door JL.... well it doesn’t (not even close)
When I called them to get “customer service” I basically got “Oh Well just try and cut it to fit”
After repeated back and forth they stated that it was a mistake on their website and they do not even have 2door Magnaflow Pro Series in stock as of yet. So I asked when they get them in stock can you send me the 2dr pipe that fits and I’ll send you back the 4door JLU pipe that doesn’t? They responded by saying “No, we can’t just swap a pipe out” I stated that I was able to frabricate a pipe to make the system work for the time being but I would eventually like to get the Magnaflow part that correctly fit my JL.
Extreme Terrain has lost all my future business and if you guys are smart you’ll do the same. What type of customer service is that!? On a $450 Exhaust no less. Crazy

Extreme Terrain is the worst.

Made a quick weekend trip down to Key West with the lady and we had a blast with the jeep. I put down the windshield for the first time and man was that great.. When it's 100 degrees outside and the AC doesn't cut it drop that thing and you'll be good to go.

Also the looks from the doors off and windshield down were hilarious..
