The total for this project DIY = $182.60
Jeep quoted me $700 for everything. Not a bad $500 savings just by doing it myself. Also, this is a 3000+ lbs towing hitch.

Thanks, I did slide back the lever but didn’t press down. Will give that a try.There is a red lever you have to slide backthen press down and pull.
Now it will be easily confused with a GC.I “cleaned” the JL by removing the Wrangler decal
