What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

This mod bug is a real problem financially lol. Just got hid projector headlight for the jl. Its called the jl monsters. I think they are pricey but so unique in customizing the look of the jeep that i had to get them. This is one of the reasons why i went non led package because i had in mind getting these. The oem led headlights are great and even comes with a halo but it doesnt stand out how i wanted. Here are few pics of my jlus with jl monsters. I like the devil eyes. I just have to adjust the position of the lens. I think they look sick.

Question for you on this mod. Since the table is made to attach to the trail Rail, and in this case is screwed into the cover, How solid is it? Will it hold any weight or just drinks?

We don't think we have posted this mod here. It is on our build page, but we wanted to share it here also. We added the OEM tailgate table. We were bummed that it did not include cup holders that actually held a drink. After doing some research, we found and purchased this cup holders. They fit perfectly. Problem solved.

What did you use/do to clean the engine compartment?

First I covered up the air intake with a trash bad and some tape.
I then dry cleaned the engine, knocking out as much dirt as possible with a brush then with a leaf blower.
Sprayed the entire engine bay with simple green and let it soak for about 5 minutes. I had to use two spray bottles, half simple half water.
Sprayed down the engine with a pressure washer set on its low setting. Here you have to use common sense, keep it on low or use your garden hose. Everything in the engine bay is water proof but if you blast water in there you will risk pushing things to their limit.
Drove it for a little bit to get out as much water as possible. (You can also hit it with the leaf blower again)
Finally I cleaned her up with some detailer. This stuff gives your engine and all its components that true black color again. It also puts a nice protective coat on everything. Before I take the jeep off road again I'm spraying everything down with this.

The table is made to be attached to the tail gate, it works the same with or without the trail rail. The tail gate has spots where the bolts go and should hold up to 25 lbs.

Installed the Mopar tailgate table. Not a bad install at all just had to drill 4 holes. The directions said to use a 13mm drill bit but I only had a 1/2in which worked fine. Seems to hold really good and the clasps should help keep it in place but the real test will be after a few trail runs to see how it holds

Installed the tailgate reinforcement, just in case, and replaced the front turn signals, DRL's, reverse lights, and brake lights/rear turns with diode dynamics LED lights. Just waiting on their headlights to be available.

Next I need to figure out what to do about the dripping from the rear wiper fluid nozzle.

Did you install resistors on every LED? I can't get my right rear turn signal to stop giving me the "LED out" error...

I installed the ACE rear cargo basket tonight. It works great but it is a huge rattle trap. I sandwiched rubber washers between the bars and the basket and it appears to have fixed it. I will buy some black washers to replace the red ones so it’s not as noticeable.

Did you install the resistors? I’m getting ready to install but wasn’t going to use the resistors because of the heat the generate - I can live with a fast flashing turn signal

Yep, I installed resistors and I thought everything was fine except for the right rear turn signal is giving me trouble. I don't mind the "hyperblink" when using the signal, its the DING your turn signal is out message that pops up every time that annoys me!

I have to say that after assembling the TopLiftPro and removing the top, it was worth the money. I had to roll it over uneven ground with the top on and I was impressed with how stable it is.

The JTops sunshade is fantastic! I was able to install it by myself without much hassle...aside from running back and forth several times. lol I love how it matches the contour of the Jeep leaving no gaps. Also, their customer service was great. I haven't tried putting the hardtop back on, but it doesn't appear that there with be an issue.

Very nice! Can you elaborate on the Mopar cab cover? How is the material? How long does it take to put on? Does it fold up compact? Thanks in advance.
