I looked at all of the lifts you mention except the EVO but only in 2.5". You wont go wrong with either with what you mentioned how you would use your Jeep. I wanted maintenance free so at the time I went with Clayton Overland+ with Fox 2.0's and 35's (on JLUR) and cant complain with how I use it. My wife, with a very bad back, even enjoys the ride and driving it.

Hmmm...

Lots of good lift kits out there. You have mentioned 3.5" kits. That might be a bit high for 35's. They might make your tires look small and leave lots of space between the tires and the fenders.

Most replies have mentioned 2.5" kits. That sounds like good advice to me.

Taller lifts with 35's would make sense if you were planning to add heavy components like steel bumpers and a winch. These would press down on the lift and decrease the the height.

This is what I did + adjustable front track bar. Handles better than stock on the street and much better on highways. Absorbs typical forest roads better too with basic fox 2.0 shocks.

I mean you arent going to look different from any other Wrangler out there unless you start embrasing your inner @Tredsdert and I dont see that happening.

It's nice to be in a class of your own. Testing the boundaries of what's acceptable is always a must!

It looks so vanilla with normal fenders back on it.

To some extent I do agree with you. It definitely looks much more mainstream.

On a side note my Dad was just texting me letting me know he is going to be giving me some free semi waterproof auto/marine speakers...

I'm not sure where I'm going to mount them on the Jeep. I was kind of thinking on the underside of the Wrangler somewhere. Make them like trail speakers or something. Again, they're only semi waterproof so I'm not trying to place them somewhere where they'll get direct rain coverage, and as much as I'm changing up my top scenario, probably not good to put it in the cab of the vehicle unless it's properly protected. I feel like there's a lot of places I could tuck it away underneath the vehicle, although I do like driving through puddles... ?

Eh, I'll let you know what I end up deciding!

Hello,
I finally pick up a 2021 Jeep Sahara 4XE with 20k miles on it. This is my 5th jeep ive own, my first one was when i was 18 and Im now 40 ha ha So I have slowed down a bit from bashing jeeps when I was younger. Ive been researching a lot on this forum of different lift kits, in particular the Evo Mfg stage 4 overland, the Metal Cloak 3.5" Game Changer, the Rock krawler adventure or adventure X, and the clayton 3.5" premium . I will be honest as i will not offroad this up rocks or anything crazy, mainly a backroad in the mountains is the most this jeep will ever see. My wife will be driving it often back and forth to work, and it will see the highway often where the speed limit is 80mph. I want a good look and functional...I know, call me a mall crawler I understand ha ha ha So im looking for a suspension that is relatively quiet, not a bunch of squeaking and creaks.... Looking for something stable for cruising the highway at speed, with good ride around town driving. I heard the rock krawler had some joint issues and was noisy...??? A lot of people seem to like the Metal Cloak but it seems mainly for off roading? I plan on King shocks with remote reservoirs and adjusters but open to other shock ideas.... Thanks for all your help! Also up for tire size ideas as well... I will not be flexing this thing out or anything nuts biggest bump is a pothole or a washboard back road...

Words words stuff things, been drinking sorry. Lots of highway 35s and a 2.5 lift is sick. 37s you need gears definitely and a 3.5 would be cool. Clayton, RK or teraflex. Pay to play. Cheers!

I’ve been extremely happy with this setup on my 4xE and have no doubt it’s capable on most trails I need as well as has been comfortable on road:

AEV 2” Spacer lift
Mopar extended LCA’s
Bilstein 5100’s 2 to 3” extended shocks (optional)

AEV kit also came with ProCal snap which takes care of programming for bigger tires.

Thank you for all the responses, tough decision on my hands.... I do like that metal cloak chimed in, and others backed that the ride is good and even better than stock from the metal cloak lifts. I work my butt off, so got money too play, including replacing steering, gears, track bars, ball joints etc etc just want the best ride without squeaks, creaks, or sloppy feeling. I will do at the minimum 37s.

I was in the same boat. I have a Willys but chose to do just a 2 inch spacer lift AEV, 315/70/17 ko2, I did change out track bar with Clayton adjustable and got the geometry brackets AEV and Fox steering stabilizer which I will change to a through put soon because it drifts to right with it. I’m sure you can go down rabbit hole and keep going but mine is good like it sits now.

If 37s are a sure thing, you are going to need to regear. 4.56 at a minimum. If your wife is driving this a lot I hope she's 5'10" or taller because running 37s and 3"+ of lift is going to make getting in and out a bit more work.
I just raised my JLUR 2.5" and put 35's and my wife has a heck of a time getting in.

To me it sounds like you are chasing the image and not the experience. Drive it and see how it does now. You'll be shocked that it will do pretty much anything you want.
But if you do go for the lift with 37s welcome to the 12-14mpg club.
