Hi,

i have a 2024 wrangler 4 door willys. had the step assist installed and definitely need lower steps to enter/exit vehicle. is there anything out there to just add steps without having to remove the step assist already installed?

It would be helpful if you would explain what “step assist” you are talking about. Better yet, post a picture.

Not sure what could be compatible with the step you got - maybe the MORE hide-a-step?

otherwise you could take the current ones off and sell them to partially fund the new ones.

Any luck?

Kinda in a similar boat. New Willys w/XR pack. Love the Rubi rails on it but have come across a few times where I'm having to overextend myself to climb in. Found the M.O.R.E. Hide a step too pricey and not that big of a helper since I'd have to bring my foot almost to the same height as the rail to prop it open. Also the Archetype stirrups face the same issue, pricey and height wise are at the same level.

Had come across a google result that showed someone added some rivnuts to the underside of the OEM Mopar Rock Rails and then bolted on some drop down steps that were originally for another brand of rock rails. Cant seem to find it again.

Also just saw some in amazon that a few users modified brackets to make them work with the Mopar rails.. but no clear view of how they made it work.

Check out what GOAT Fabrication has; they mount with the factory Rubicon rails. They are a member of the forum, Adam there is fantastic to work with, always responsive to members questions.
