This is about the best I’ve seen for the JL. What are your thoughts so far? Can this be used with a soft top retracted down?Installed rear deck from jeepbackbone.com
My commute is garage to covered parking so the rear deck will allow me to travel through light rain without putting the hard top on. Also I like the security feature to allow a briefcase or golf clubs to be in the truck and locked. Once my half doors arrive, I plan on extending the deck all the way to the front seat for more of a "truck" look.
Shipping was fast and accurate by jeepbackbone and the product is top notch. I was seriously considering a DIY but when the deck arrived, I'm sure glad I didn't attempt the project.

I was at 3000 miles...the 45mph with the front window down not strapped is a lie. lol... I was doing 39 when it came up and spider cracked the whole thing $475 installed and I paid $100 deductible. I was told it would be at least 1 month due to being back ordered but was happy when it arrived and was installed today a week after breaking it.Less then 500 miles and Bam

sunny!Was surprised to see my steps came in today since extremeterrain said it would ship until the 28, but I'm glad. They stick out a little farther than I thought, but I won't be doing a lot of rock crawling so I'm not too worried about it hitting a rock; just a lot of overlanding!!
Also put on a fun decal since this is my daily and I love this show.

Those cup holder mats are great, where did you find them? ThanksAdded mag lite and poison spider roll cage holster. Anyone know if alkaline batteries will survive the summer heat in the jeep or am I gonna be looking at a mess in the mag lite in a few weeks?
Also added some cup holder accent mats!

I agree 100%. I called them and they said they did not and will not make any provisions for the factory fog lights, bummer!It is a great looking bumper. Unfortunately one of my criteria is that my next new front bumper must accept the factory fog lights.
I bought them on amazon. Made for the JL. If buying, make sure you pay attention to cloth or leather. For some reason it makes a difference here.Those cup holder mats are great, where did you find them? Thanks
If you look at the back corners there are no mounting points for the soft top uprights. I don't think it will work with the soft top. Diabolical Inc is coming out with a JL version of their slipstream which looks similar. I'm waiting for that one. Same price I think as this one but it'll work with both tops and is hinged to open.This is about the best I’ve seen for the JL. What are your thoughts so far? Can this be used with a soft top retracted down?
Thanks for the heads-up. Just ordered a set.@sost1sg
Cup Holder Hero is a forum sponsor. Indeed, they have a very nice offering!
Consider taking a moment to post in their forum thread your feelings about their product and how it worked out with your JL.
Other forum members looking for a cupholder pad will appreciate your time to do so.

@Cup Holder Hero
Love the deck so far. Just put the hardtop on with the deck still installed with no issue. I only have the hardtop so I'm not sure but the one backbone made for the JKU allowed for the soft top to operate with the deck in place. I'd ask jeepbackbone directly on that one.This is about the best I’ve seen for the JL. What are your thoughts so far? Can this be used with a soft top retracted down?
