That's my dilemma. Ordered premium soft top and 5-1/2 months later it's on a truck with standard top. Crazy

have the dealer swap it out before you buy it.

Could use some forum member input/advice. Ordered 1-13-2018. Checked, double checked, triple checked order with dealer before leaving. I can't explain what they did but needed to get a case number because the vin I have was under a different buyers name. Now MY vehicle is on a truck, good news, exact build but no pst. I'll get the pst but any thoughts!

Somewhere along the line, they had a different name associated with my VIN: Dave Smith. The only reason I even know is because it came up when I was calling the customer service line on a few occasions. No one could ever explain why.

So, 12/13/17 JL Rubicon order received at dealer 5/30/18.... now 28 days later first recall from FCA received. Apparently don’t engage your cruise control, until checked out by dealer....

Okay before I forget to post my initial impressions (condensed):

• Color: Awesome in person and I'm loving it.
• 6-spd: Tall gears, very smooth, and after 200 miles I'm feeling very comfortable with it. Like a glove.
• Stereo: Android Auto? Awesome. Why do I need 8.4? 7 with Alpine would be enough with my phone hooked up. Nav doesn't show above the wheel if using phone navigation. XM is nice but does cut out a lot, even in Colorado with not a lot of cover. I'm very happy I added this option never the less.
• Seats: Very comfy. I can see spending time in them on long trips. Well done.
• Motor: Peppy though I'm being easy on it during break in. I know it will be enough to motivate. Low end is there, though perhaps not v8 or electric there.
• Suspension: Soft and comfortable. Great daily driver, but not a speed racer. I look forward to off road testing. Impressive.
• HAVC: With a hard top, the AC blows cold in 90+ degree weather keeping the cabin impressively comfortable. Have not used heat yet, but it's a Jeep. It'll be toasty. Controls are easy to use after you spend a moment to find your way around.
• Storage: Ah... yea. Well I can take the rear seat out.

The thoughts right now are: Love this Jeep.

So why not add a few things? lol

Hinge protection and the upgrade Rubicon wheels: black with silver lip.

Today's mod. Trying out these mirrors i found for UHV's, i like them a lot.
