Ok so smashed my hardtop up on some rocks. Should be repairable. But in taking it off it's become quite obvious that things have moved quite a long way from stock configuration.

Hardtop repairs..

Not hard.. but next time i need to make sure the bond is proud of the surrounding area so i can sand it down smooth..

Still, good enough for its intended purpose..

Blew the window out and broke the frame right through. I was being gentle, honest ?

After tlc, all fixed. Lots of 3m adhesive, glass mat and sanding..

Still have to glue the window back in.. $85 off Ebay for a new window. Fixed all up for about $120 in stuff.

It looks like you salvaged your bumper out of a major car fire.?
Those are pieces of plastic from smokeless powder cans.. the oem crush cans die after one days use in the rocks. Those plastic pieces have been going strong for years. ?

The rest of the bumper has had a rough life too..

Got a plan for that. Winch plate and recovery hooks only. No bumper..

The pics you post are just absurd. I am amazed the stock engine doesn’t get fuel/oil starved or whatever while you have the Jeep on its side.?

Bumper referb. Now just winch plate and recovery hooks. I'll get a bracket made up to mount the spots again. Should be fairly easy.

The ultimate stubby bumper.

One of the frame chop kits would be the ultimate stubby bumper (and not look like a tweaker stole your front bumper).

I'm trying to retain some of the "budget build hack job" mindset in this build ?.

This was cheaper, faster and easier than a frame chop. Maybe not quite the same amount of clearance, but I'm usually not too troubled for clearance.
