Installed the Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit. Happy to report no interference with the Smittybilt spare tire relocator. Pretty straight forward on the install.

Also threw on some Spidertrax 1.75” wheel spacers to get the stance I was after.

Yeah it’s a lot like window tint. I found it to be a pain at first but with some patience it comes out pretty nicely. Just use lots of soap spray and keep it wet.

Thanks man. Can’t really tell a difference in the ride. Pretty much the same.

315/70/17 BFG KO2. I went with the reinforcement kit just to ease my concience. It’s rock solid for sure, probably overkill for a not quite 35” tire but I couldn’t help but factor in the weight of the spare relocation bracket.

Next I need to figure out what to do about the dripping from the rear wiper fluid nozzle.

Sweet. Thanks. I was only asking cause I have the 33" KO2s on the same rims. Didn't think I needed reinforcement but it's a little squeeky back there now.

Ya I had those same squeaks. Rubber on rubber squeak at low speeds whenever I hit a bump. It’ll drive you crazy. New bumpstops came with the reinforcement kit so I basically smashed the spare to them. Squeak free now

No water in Jeep. Mopar 2” lift. The physical badges take 8-12 weeks unfortunately.
