I just got my second set of Duratracs. First set was on a JK and they were great all around. When the KO2s on my JLUR were worn out at 33K miles, I put on the new Duratrac RTs. So far they perform better than the the originals did. I only have about 1000 miles on them and have had them in everything except deep snow. There's a thread about them somewhere and I need to do a complete review, hoping to get in some deep snow first though.

If this was 2003, I would recommend the BFG, but I can't recommend a completely dated design when there are much better options available. I have been quite pleased with past Falken AT tires. So I would look at the new offering from them. Especially if you are considering wet highway traction.

I have only ever used BFGs on all my 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks mainly on road.
Great tire but they do suck on rain and ice. Have always got great wear out of them.
I currently have the KO2s on her and Nokian Hakkapeliitta's in the winter.
I have a 2 door Rubicon and Im going to go with the Micky Thompson Baja Boss A/T in the "D" range.
I get the "C" is a little softer, and will air down more with my lite vehicle than the "D" will.
But am mainly on road so I dont think the "D" will be that much of a hindrance.
I only put approx 15k (10k mile) a year so the extra tire weight isn't a Hugh factor . (I hope) lol

Good luck on your shopping.

The upcoming KO3s look promising.

at which size and model Mickey are you looking that you can get it in a Load Range 'C' ? i'm not finding a 'C' option on their website.

It looks like there might be a mix-up with the name AT4, as it's usually linked to a type of GMC vehicle that's good for off-road driving, not a tire model. If you meant a different, new tire model instead of the well-known Falken Wildpeak AT3W or something similar, it's important to check out reviews and test results. You should especially look at how it does in snow and cold weather, how long it lasts, and how much noise it makes.

Yes the water channels in those look like they finally are addressing the biggest fault in the design.

Hey guys i got a 2021 Willys and MT2 stocks tires . I am looking to get the 35s but all terrain i love the look of MTs but very noisy . I use the car for everyday city live and highway. I live in Chicago and i heard the Nitto Ridge grapplers not that good for the Chicago weather theyvare better for warm weather and so far i am leaning towards the Falken Wildpeak AT3 or the new AT4 .
Would love some ideas here ….
"Best all terrain tires …"

In many ways, this is so subjective. Take the recommendations in this thread and then do alot of research based on what YOU want out of your tires. Even within the AT category, the range of tire capabilites (from "mainly onroad" to "more rugged off road", SL to E load range, etc.) is quite large. Everyone has his/her favorite. I just bought the Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT. It's a good looking (subjective) light-duty AT tire with good rain/snow ratings. It should fit my needs. That said, the Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws that you are considering are really nice tires.

I am a BFG and Michelin guy from way back. The KO tires are great tires. In my recent 23 Wrangler Rubi 2 Dr. build, I went with the Mickey's Bajas because the size I went with, LT315-70-17 (35s), had a load range E and the KOs only had a Load Range D. Yes, the Load Range E is a heavier tire than the D and that should be a clue that the E is more of a heavy duty tire and will withstand the abuse more than a D and may prevent a tire failure sooner under the same conditions.

Going lighter and cheaper doesn't always mean it's the best solution and cheaper in the longrun.

I am really happy with my Bajas. And it is my understanding that the Mickeys are made by Goodyear in this country and not overseas.

Micky Thompson was made by Cooper which of course sold out to Goodyear.

I'm fairly confident they're referring to the A/T4W which seems to have replaced the A/T3W. No sign of the old A/T3W on their list of Wildpeaks. https://www.falkentire.com/wildpeak

Over the past few weeks, driving over mild NY snow, I experienced how terrible the KO2s were on my JLUXR for winter driving. Barely made it up my driveway while my Tesla MX had no issues. I had a GC wk2 on wildpeaks at3w and they ran amazing in all snow conditions

I am real big fan of the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T... Put them on my daughter's jeep and a buddy runs them. They will be my next tire!

We have Cooper Discoverer ATP's and they seem to be decent so far.
